Voor zover dat mogelijk was, kon het altijd een valkuil zijn geweest. Misschien wilde de ruler van Sunfall het wel makkelijker hebben en een extra eiland erbij kon nooit geen kwaad. Echter werd het al snel duidelijk dat het niet het geval leek te zijn.

Not the first time I took this trip, but it has been a while.” [/b][/color]Door het geloof dat was overgevlogen naar Sunfall werd hij meestal niet met open armen ontvangen. Iedereen wist wel van waar dat hij kwam en zeker de Priests zouden hem wel herkennen als ze hem zagen. Niet dat hij er problemen mee had, het kon leuk zijn om die chaos te creëren. Hij had er echter niet elke maand nood aan. Zelfs niet jaarlijks. Een jaar vloog voorbij wanneer je immortal was.
De vampier vouwde zijn handen in elkaar, achter zijn rug. Hij nam de omgeving nog even in zich op terwijl hij luisterde naar de woorden van de andere persoon. [color=#504a47][b]“You never know,” [/b][/color]zei hij geheimzinnig. Een gesprek met een andere stad leider kon wel degelijk pijn doen als je hem liet doen. Of vooral als hij er in de mood voor was.
Hij volgde het gebaar even tot bij de stoelen en haalde langzaam zijn schouders op. Dagen konden voorbij gaan zonder dat hij de nood had om ergens te gaan zitten, maar hij kon geloven dat het voor anderen niet zo was. Met enkele passen begaf hij zich naar één van de stoelen en zetten zich daar neer. Hij liet één been op het andere rusten door zijn enkel op zijn knie te plaatsen.
Valdimàrr trok één mondhoek op in een grijns waarbij hij één van zijn scherpe hoektanden toonde. Meerderheid van de bevolking wist wat hij was en daar maakte hij geen probleem meer van. Als je als leider van een stad vele jaren heerste en nooit veranderde, sneller was als normaal, dan wist iedereen wel dat er iets was. Hij zou geen moeite doen om het verborgen te houden.[color=#504a47][b] “A drink would be nice. Maybe you could send that one guard inside, he looked so cute when he didn’t want to leave. I’m sure I can make him feel more comfortable.” [/b][/color]Zijn ogen gleden naar de deur waar de guards door waren verdwenen. Er was een zekere lust af te lezen in zijn ogen, één waarvan hij zelf vaak niet door had dat die aanwezig was.
Langzaam gleden zijn blauwe ogen weer naar de man waarvan hij in het gezelschap was. Zijn andere mondhoek krulde hierbij ook naar boven. [color=#504a47][b]“Or, we could arrange something else.” [/b][/color]Er volgde een korte knipoog, maar zijn blik gleed vervolgens al weer naar de deur. Het kon nooit kwaad om wat te spelen en de andere persoon te plagen. Dat maakte alles enkel interessanter. Hij kon het echter niet hebben dat Jasper helemaal van de kaart was, op die manier is het niet mogelijk om zaken te bespreken. Dat en het liet geen goede eerste indruk na.
