Long story short; Mercier thrives for justice. Big or small, he makes no exception, so no distinction is made between large or smaller criminals. He reacts with one and the same firm hand. Although he has no problems working together with other agents, he finds it extremely difficult to get attached to someone. As soon Mercier gets the idea he's starting to feel something towards one perticular person, he immediately shuts down and takes distance. Communicating with him will only be made more hard-to-reach. This behavior arose out of fear of losing a loved one, and this man -being stuck for ages in his ways- still hasn't found the wisdom to overcome this.

History

- Was born as the first child of Azeem and Hazeldine
- Had a few carefree years
- Soon became big brother of two little sisters
- Loved them, and protected them from the start
- Mother Hazeldine died of an unknown disease days before his 11th birthday
- Mercier started working as a child laborer to help his father pay the bills
- Met one of his teachers in a mine
- Learned how to fight and use a bow after work hours
- Lost his father several years later
- Found the love of his life at the age of 24
- Married her and got children.
- She left him after a few years, abondoning her own children
- The kids got taken away from Mercier. People believed that a father alone would do no good
- Being 31, he got bitten by a vampire
- Wandered and traveled around. Fighting wars and battles who were not his
- Eventually created Division of Civic Security (DCS). A secret agency fighting against crime, but follow no perticular crown. They have their own believes and leaders.
