The immortal King [Thriumph/Faylice] Empty The immortal King [Thriumph/Faylice]

You got no strings on me
everybody will be screaming, for mercy
Avanti was always way to nicely dressed for the monster he was. But that was probably the elegance he dragged around. Tonight was different, another kind of elegance, more deadly than usual. Where you would found the certain charm there was that emptiness as he walked down the stairs. His black coat making him even longer then he already was, his footstep nothing more than an emptiness in the night. One hand in the pocket of his pants while he bite down on his thumb, tasting his own blood. He looked down to his thumb, breathing in through his nose as he took the last few stairs. He almost tasted her in his own blood, Faylice. After feeding on her it felt like her smell, her blood ran through his own veins. He looked up from his finger and he forget about the scared little girl in her room as there stood a queen worthy to his vision waiting, Ayana. ‘Where is Achilles?’ He asked coldly. She really didn’t had to answer, he could read it from her gaze and just waved his hand in the air, irritated. He had to contain himself already for so long, pretending he was all good and saint while all he wanted to do is rip somebody open. Tonight he could do a lot of that.

The castle was so empty, it felt like everybody was hiding away on this dark night. As he passed a window his eyes went outside to the sky, to a full moon hiding behind the clouds. He wasn’t the only monster running around outside, people started to know that those nights weren’t to walk around in. He stopped before the window, gazing outside to little houses. An slow smile came on his lips, you couldn’t even call it a smile. ‘They have no idea,’ he whispered, looking aside to Ayana as he shook his head. ‘what will become of their lives.’ He followed. Navarre would get an immortal king on the throne, a king under his command.

Ayana followed him into that big throne room, both as cold as the stone walls. And there it stood, a big way to nice throne. Avanti never owned a throne, his reputation stood as a throne. Yet, he gave Ayana a short look before he walked over and turned around, slowly sitting down. Why did kings had thrones? What was even the value of it? He leaned back, looking in front of him when he saw something walk in the corner of his eyes, a cat. A cat who was brave enough to jump in his lap. ‘Cats.’ He whispered, throwing Ayana a long amusing look while he stroke the animal over her fur before he looked back up to the two persons walking in. ‘I thought you would miss datenight.’ Avanti said to Achilles lowering his head to give the cat a kiss on her head before his purple eyes shifted to Thriumph. ‘I never understand why kings have thrones,’ he started pushing the cat from his lap like it was the most normal thing to do. ‘I hope you don’t mind.’ He said with that dominant gaze right in his eyes as he pushed himself up, still standing on a little platform. ‘You should bow for your superior Thriumph.’ He announced, that sick tempting smile on his lips. ‘given I will be your king from now on.’ He couldn’t resist on claiming that little bit of fame, opening his hands to gesture the room around him before he stepped down the platform, stepping over to Thriumph. He stood still before him, hands down in his pants as he lifted his chin, purple against blue. ‘You can keep the throne,’ he started, slowly smiling. ‘as long as I get your life.’ He followed, licking his lower lip softly. ‘Deal?’ He asked softly, tilting his head, eyes not releasing those of the king.

The immortal King [Thriumph/Faylice] Empty Re: The immortal King [Thriumph/Faylice]

Fall deeper and deeper,
into the nightmares he gives

Blandly Thriumph stared. Again. In front of him the same table, with the same pieces on it. The same chamber, but everything was different. Even though all the pieces were on a different spot now, since the perfection had been smeared by one man. It didn’t matter the piece ended on the exact same spot, it wasn’t perfect anymore. Maybe because he didn’t finish it, maybe because of the one who touched it. The man remembered how the same stare ended the last time, and he knew this one would end with something far greater than that. For now there was one thing that needed to be fixed, that damned strategy. And for now it was a way to guide his mind into thinking productive, it needed to be as intense as it could. Otherwise his mind would wander off into, darker businesses.

It was so perfect, again. It didn’t even take that long to perfect it this time. Maybe because if his mind being sharpened by the events that took place the days before. It was a change that ran around the whole castle. No one would be able to lay a finger on it, yet everyone must’ve known. Sure, the rumours had been there, one sloppy guard who did not take his order like he wanted him to. It surely wouldn’t end well, as Thriumph demanded nothing less but full obedience.

Of course that perfection had to be ruined, as his old friend walked into the room. If you could call him a friend anyways, it was something close to it, and Thri had accepted it like it was. Strange and dark. The corners of the kings mouth had just slightly risen as he saw the appearance of Achilles walk into his chambers. The chamber that had been more occupied by him and Avanti, than himself, but he had them rather here than roaming around. The man had known it was the night, looking out towards the full moon that lit up the pretty dark room, draping it over the tense atmosphere. Thriumph had seen his daughter arrive, and with the moment it all was going to happen set itself clear. Causing him to be more on edge than he already was. Just as he got lost by those thoughts that were already so dangerous in the previous weeks he saw the perfection get destroyed. Again. Not that he would expect anything different from Achilles, he was a star in luring out reactions out of the man. He looked up to Achie, who just stared at him while holding a piece. Holding his comments for himself, just rolling his eyes instead. Once clear sweep of his arm, made the rest of the pieces fall to their sides, he would figure it out, again, another time.

Now, it was time for something else, something bigger. Quietly he walked after the huge man, following the everlasting hallways his castle had. Knowing what way they were heading, the biggest room a king could have, how fitting was that? He found the whole complete cult, looking around the room before he focused his eye blue eyes towards the purple pits. Quickly following the comment from Avanti to Achilles, before his eyes looked on towards a woman, quite powerful as she looked, that couldn’t be anyone else but Ayana. His eyes shifted back towards Avanti, as he was sitting on the throne. His throne. ’I do, a status thing I guess.’ De cat caught is attention for a little moment, looking how it walked off after it had gotten it’s little stroke through his fur. Wondering if it knew on whose lap it was just on, and if so, if the cat even cared.

Thriumph could the atmosphere change, even more than it had been changing until now. Feeling how things had just gotten so much more serious. The stare he got from Avanti had the same level of intensity as he remembered being on the end of that one evening. The one evening that got things going, unable to stop after. The man looked up, challenging the dominance with nothing more but the gaze of his ice blue eyes. ’You are the king of darkness.’ He noted, slowly as the corner of his mouth rose up just a little bit. ’And I’ll bow for that king, the darkness himself, if.’ He laid his hand flat together in front of him, looking towards them before he looked up again. ’you bow for the king of Navarre.’ Calculated as his words were, maybe challenging more than would be good for him. He released the tension in his arms, making them fall back before he made the little bow as his end of the challenge. Thriumph watched as he got closer, making no movements of doubt, holding his face exactly like he did before, besides from the little grin that rose just a bit more. ’You can have my life, if I keep my throne.’ He felt the eagerness jump to the foreground of his thoughts, his mind already as sharp as it could be. ’That sounds like a deal to me.’

The immortal King [Thriumph/Faylice] Empty Re: The immortal King [Thriumph/Faylice]

Why so serious?
I'm not the monster, I'm just ahead of the curve
Here they were, all gathered as one happy family, ready to take yet a life into the darkness. And not just anybody's life, that of a king, the king of Navarre. Avanti almost licked his lips on the promesing thoughts this alliance would have in the future. He wasn’t one in commanding and ruling but damn he loved the slight hint of power in this move, this night. Cooked up between these walls Avanti had done enough waiting, he wanted blood, more than that, he wanted to hunt, not in his name but in that of Thriumph. People just waved their king goodbye, after this there wouldn’t be a turning back, it was that or the death, a simple choice for a rather esquised king. He realized all of that while walking into that throne room, taking it all in with Ayana by his side. Did he love some good drama, knowing Larethian would find out eventually … drama would follow. But until that it was Avanti’s duty to keep Thriumph a king, only so nobody would notice how corrupted his heart had gotten.

Seeing Thriumph walking in with Achilles by his side made him smirk over the difference in height in the first place. But his smirk was mostly one out of promise, a dark hollow smile promesing so much for the rest of the evening. He kicked rather the cat rather empty from his lap, shoving the animal away like it was a piece of bread he didn’t want. And then there was just that short look to Ayana, promesing he would never shove her away like that. His attention went shortly to Achilles who came to stand on the other side of him before his purple eyes settled on Thriumph.

For a short moment Thriumph fixed his gaze on to Ayana and Avanti followed that look, studying his right hand with that admirantion he always had for her. ‘This is Ayana by the way.’ Avanti waved with his fingers to the immortal beside him, like it was needed that they got introduced. He pushed himself up, folding his hands behind his back, squinting his eyes on the words. He looked over his shoulder to the throne. ‘Lucky for you the throne doesn’t has to move then.’ He reacted rather cold on the words, looking back to the king. ‘You may make it a little darker in here, if you want to keep playing king on that throne.’ His words were nothing less then a meaning to fill the silence roaming through this night. Avanti was impatience, a little short of answer. That Thriumph kept his personality in check was a good thing, he couldn’t show any differences if he was a vampire after all. So he could sit on that throne after all, Avanti would stand aside it, or linger in the dark corners of this castle. He wasn’t leaving after all.

Walking to the edge of that little platform Avanti hide his hands away in the pockets of his black jacket, lingering on the edge as he looked down to the floor, waiting for a reaction on his requests. But the words spoken weren’t the things Avanti was coming, his eyes went back up, agonizing slowly before his purple eyes met those ice cold blue ones of Thriumph again. His eyes shifted shortly to Ayana before he chuckled, a meaningless chuckle filling that room. ‘You want me to bow for you?’ He repeated the words carefully, stepping down from the platform to walk calmly over to Thriumph. ‘You really think I care for this land, this rule?’ He breathed out, clenching his teeth carefully as he walked around Thriumph. He stopped aside him, a pale hand folding around that one shoulder of the king. ‘I don’t care about those little pieces on that board, what I do care,’ he started laughing, pointing his attention right back to his two other companions. ‘He wants me to bow.’ He laughed softly before he reacted in a second, kicking his knee up in the back of Thriumph his leg so that the king fell on his knees. Both Avanti’s hands clenched around Thriumph his shoulder, harder then he should be doing. ‘I don’t bow, not for you and certainly not that that dreadful king standing above you.’ He hissed coldly. ‘You have yourself a deal Thriumph, sit on your throne, be a poppet all tangled in strings, in the end you will see where the heart belongs, given,’ he looked down over Thriumph his shoulder, to the place where his heart laid. ‘I will rip it out.’ He arched his back again, cracking his own neck. ‘I need you to be a king, only to taunt others right there on the spot.’ He chuckled, letting Thriumph go as he stepped away again. ‘You can do that for me Thriumph, rule like you always did, work in my benefits, be my advisor in my own battles? Hmm?’ A wicked smile challenges his lips, tilting his head way to much. ‘If not Faylice surly will, have to say, I hope you taste as good as she does.’ And there was the emptiness again as he stared down to the king, gesturing him to get back up, almost inviting him to go sit back on that throne. ‘A throne fit for a king, keep it or die trying to keep it.’ He whispered, a treat, a promise for whatever the future will hold between this alliance.

The immortal King [Thriumph/Faylice] Empty Re: The immortal King [Thriumph/Faylice]

IF I CAN'T FIND A PATH
I WILL MAKE ONE

Slowly Thriumph made his way towards his throne room. Through the hallways he knew so good. The man could even walk into them blindly and still find his way. Not only did he knew the castle that well because if his rule in it, he sure knew the secret passages and hallways, even the dungeons when his brother ruled. Still everything felt so different, loaded if you could call it that way. The king looked up, looking at the ceiling that held the details that were so old, made when the castle was built. Even though he had through this particularly hallway so many times before, he couldn’t help but look for the details over and over again. A perfection that was perfect because it just couldn’t be touched. The tension build with the load, laying on top of Thri his shoulders as he walked on, next to the huge creature. It had a certain bitterness to it, besides the darkness the castle had possessed ever since Avanti had arrived. Like he was walking for his death sentence, and that was in a way exactly how it was.

Coming in the room he saw the four members of the o so dreaded cult. He could feel it, in the way that he was the only human. The gaze of the ice blue eyes shifted towards the only woman in the room, who didn’t look any less threatening than the other three. A quick nod followed the words of the man in front of him, confirming the name he already knew. Slowly the corner of his mouth raised up, before looking back to Avanti again. Feeling how the load on his shoulder got bigger and bigger, as there was a certain expectation he was going to fill. ’Lucky me.’ He reacted with the slightest hint of sarcasm, to the next words. His eyes shifting towards the same throne he sat on every day. ’I will make some, aesthetic changes,’ He stated, looking around the room like he was an designer. Like he hadn’t seen every corner of that place before. ’playing king.’ Mocking himself in the progress, holding that attention to the rest of the room a little longer. Looking back towards the purple eyes as his challenges were getting more intense already. Thriumph was walking on that fine line, so fragile, so dangerous. One little slip and he would have trouble, a lot of it actually. And yet he was walking on, pushing and pulling, curious to how far he would come, could go.

His command was just a little too much, and Thri knew it as he saw the little shift in gaze into the purple pits. Waiting as patiently for the reaction to come, staring on like the words he said were nothing. Following the gazes of the man, landing on Ayana for that moment. Just that moment to really confess he had really pushed it too far this time, closing off the moment to lay down every single option that man in front of him had. Trying to figure out every reaction, his mind getting even sharper than before.

And there it was, the words which made Thriumph open up his eyes, to stare down to Avanti again. Following the slow and almost careful movements, hearing the rhetorical questions that were asked as he felt the hand wrap around his shoulder. His head halfway turned he looked over to the two others in the room, hearing more words fired towards him.  Before he could react he felt the kick, forcing him down to the ground. Feeling how his knees made that not so soft contact to the ground beneath, softly clenching his jaws together with the pain it caused. ’Noted.’ Thriumph reacted, a little under his breath as he could feel the next crushing pain of his shoulders being pushed together. The words clear as they were he still managed to pull his eyebrow at the last words. ”ripping his hearth out.” What a feeling that must be. Still he kept quiet, knowing that any of his sassy comments wouldn’t help a single bit. Now Avanti’s command came in, more as a counteraction then anything else. Even though the king was on his knees right now, he still didn’t bend his neck, still didn’t show his defeat as it was merely a warning for his ego to calm down. The words had promise, that was clear, making the man pull up those corners of his mouth again. ’I’ll be there right on the spot, rule like I’ve always done, but better.’ He promised in his defence, nothing more than honest thoughts spoken out, calculated as Thriumph could be. Advice in your battles, work the benefits of the darkness.’ As soon as the words spilled over his lips he felt the eagerness rise up again, forgetting the burning shoulders altogether.

Gradually the king stood up again, stretching out his body like he had been in the position for ages, the dark grin fixed over his lips. Still he raised an eyebrow with his comment about his daughter, wanting to know what he was planning after all. ’Only one way to find out.’ He commented anyways, emotionless and neutral. In the same movements he followed the gestures, placing himself on that throne. His throne, still was and would be, forever if you’d ask Thri. Ever so slowly he placed himself on it, he didn’t care it would be mocked, it was the place he wanted to be, for so many years more. He didn’t respond to the words, he merely raised up the corners of his mouth, staring back with the same promise that whisper held.

Why so serious?
I'm not the monster, I'm just ahead of the curve
It wasn’t a common sight, those three together. At least not to the human eye. Avanti wasn’t much in the company of Ayana and Achilles on the same time, yet seeing them standing there was like the most normal and horrifying picture ever. Achilles with his height and strength the most brutal killer of the three while Ayana was the tricky one, the poison through your veins, the cat behind the killings. Avanti had their power, their loyalty and he had his ways, making him way more unpredictable than you would love to. He was never looking for twice the same thing, he know the next one coming into his ranks would be different, and it was … a king. A king who was easy with words like Avanti was, deadly with commands as Avanti was but maybe more strategic … and you never knew where you could need that for.

As Avanti removed himself from the throne he was pointing out one thing that king wouldn’t be able to change, the light. You hardly saw Avanti in brought daylight, yet for this king night wouldn’t be an option. He would have to squeeze himself in a schedule that wouldn’t weak him, that would keep him strong enough for what would come. So his comment wasn’t misplaced and you could read on the look in his eyes he didn’t found any amusement in what Thriumph replied to it. ‘You will understand soon enough.’ He reacted flat. ‘And if not you will feel it.’ He followed. Thriumph would be ripped apart if he didn’t understood the consequences of the curse he would get. Certainly as a newborn.

For Avanti this wasn’t any different, it wasn’t because Thriumph was a king that he would acted in another way. He still found the joy, the thrill in the smalls feels of power, he still loved to suppress power, just as he did now. ‘Remember you came to me, for that you are no different than those two.’ He whispered into Thriumph his ear, looking over his shoulder to both Ayana and Achilles. Privilege weren’t a gift in his mind, those were earned, as long as Thriumph wouldn’t prove himself, he could forget on all the little mercy Avanti had. Forced on his knees it was just a tiny little king drifting under a raging temper Avanti contained. Avanti gave him back what he wanted to hear simply because it was his plan to keep Thriumph on that throne, to keep that ruler ruling. He let go of his shoulders as he stepped away, turning his body on the words. ‘Not better, smarter,’ he tapped his own temple, that creepy smile flaring his expressions for just a seconds. ‘It’s all here after al.’ He whispered. The only reason Avanti still got this far was because of being smarter, being the shadow against the wall. When Thriumph said he would rule in his benefit Avanti shortly looked aside to his Ayana before walking slowly back, crouching down with a certain mockery. ‘Then we have ourselves a deal.’ He nodded, the eagerness in his purple eyes as he studied those ice blue ones, nodding to the king he could stand up.

Mixing his daughter into the conversation did nothing to Thriumph, he walked back to his throne and Avanti followed him sharply. Those words raised Avanti his eyebrows as he had to hide the mock in his own face. The king said down, claiming his spot and Avanti raised his foot to the little platform, resting it on there as he studied that particular picture. ‘So this it,’ He asked it almost, rolling his jaw in a satisficing smile. ‘You will die, one way or the other everything you held dear will crumble under your feet,’ he breathed ou. ‘I’m so much looking forward to that part.’ He smiled dark. ‘Oh, right, before we begin, we are missing something,’ Avanti said, turning around like he was looking before that smile came on his lips like he just remembered the most cheerful thing ever. ‘my dearest Faylice.’ He breathed out, focussing his senses to the room upstairs, chuckling as his hands vanished into his pockets. ‘Be right back.’ He licked his lips in the process, almost hopping outside before he vanished.

He slowly pushed the door open to her room, looking to the bundle of blankets covering her body. ‘Knock knock.’ He whispered, losing his patience already on the moment she didn’t respond. He took a deep breath, rolling his eyes before he walked over to the bed. He wanted to just grab her but her naked neck drawn his hunger right back so he leaned over, placing both his hands aside her head as he brought his head closer. The first thing she would see opening her eyes where his empty purple eyes. ‘Get up princess, you will miss storytime.’ He whispered, seeing her eyes jump open within a second. ‘Euh euh.’ He reacted when she wanted to get from in between his arms. ‘I’m a very impatient man Faylice, next time I knock on the door I want you to react a little faster.’ It was such a sweet warning while he pushed himself back up, pointing towards the door. ‘Your father is waiting for you.’ He commanded flat, all his sweetness and charme drawn away from out of his face.

IF I CAN'T FIND A PATH
I WILL MAKE ONE

There it was, again. Thriumph could feel it so finely already, when those atmosphere changes came and went, all guided by the presence of the one man that stood right in front of him. He had that certain darkness laid over himself so clearly almost. Even though he had Achilles as his quest in his castle, it still wasn’t the same. Maybe it was even heavier since they were all three in the same room, thinking about that made it him believe so. Another time his gaze shifted off, focussing on the three vampires within his throne room, giving the lady some extra attention as he didn’t knew her, yet. Knowing what was at stake that night made the eagerness within rise up. Thriumph wanted this, even if he had any doubts, there was given enough time to think about it. Not that he would go back anymore.

The words of Avanti made the gaze of his ice blue eyes shift back,  looking around for a second time before nodding. There were quite a few things that needed some serious thoughts, to make the transition to him ruling as a vampire as smoothly as possible. The next words, made one corner of his mouth lift up just slightly, turning his head towards Ayana and Achilles before he brought his view back. ’I’ll remember.’ Thri ensured in a slow nod, promising the exact thing back. He understood his place in the team, even though he ruled his country alongside. Being forced on his knees by the man was one way to push his nose on the fact. His ice blue eyes trailing back towards the purple ones, seeing that smile that even caused the shivers to run through his body. ’Smarter it is.’ He said, revealing that dark grin of his as he stared on with his eyes cold. Then the relieving words were spoken, again. The deal was made, no going back now, even though there wasn’t a way before anyways. Feeling the keenness rise up even further as that final moment was getting closer.

As he sat down on his throne, ever so controlled and certain, he could feel the familiar spot give him somewhat of comfort. Not that he was in need of any, it just enlarged that will to become greater. To rule for so many years on. ’For the greater good.’ Softly he raised his eyebrows, tilting his head along the way. The smile faded a little bit as he said the last words, the dark smile, that bit of eagerness in the purple. Making the man squint his eyes just that tiny bit, before his gaze questioned again, still wanting to know what Faylice had to do with it. Opening his mouth to speak up he saw Avanti move out of the room, closing his mouth as he looked after the man.

She conquered her demons
AND WORE HER SCARS LIKE WINGS

It had been a long, dark never-ending emptiness, once Fay had fallen deeply into it, almost as soon as her head had touched the pillow. Too quickly to even think about what had happened that afternoon. How different it all turned out, then she had expected. How strange, odd the events after were. How that dark promise about this night was spoken, with her being a part of it. Faintly, like the smallest whisper in the wind the lady heard a voice. Not even wanting to focus her attention on it as she had the idea that she was so far away. It were the next that weren’t that faintly, they were very clear instead. In a split second her ice blue eyes shot open, only to be confronted by the purple pits of Avanti. Gasping she reacted feeling all sorts of adrenaline shot through her body after that mere moment. Staring at them for a few seconds longer, eyes wide in shock. Taking the next words in as she breathed for the first time as he pushed away.

Her body shot upwards, taking a little while on the bedside as her brain fully woke up, still seeing the purple eyes burned on her irises. Following his gesture towards the door Fay realised what was coming up. Cursing herself that she didn’t wake up earlier to at least try to escape. The next realisation came in as her hand found her neck, finding the holes that told the lady it really wasn’t just a dream. Feeling sour the area before looking in the direction of the man. Slowly standing up, even though his words stated very clearly he wasn’t patience. Faylice really didn’t want to go, the mere thought made the temperature in her whole body fall down at least a few degrees. Grabbing a coat the lady pulled it around, covering that bare piece of skin with it. Before she stepped towards the door her eyes looked towards the purple again.’Does he, do you, really need me?’ She began slowly, looking to her fingers for a second, before looking up again, trying to find out how serious the man was.
