Sweet child of mine [Faylice]
There lingered a certain silence over this castle. People were still talking but in a different way, always looking over their shoulder, whispering as if the walls had ears. They didn’t know why they were doing it, they just did out of a rumor of days ago. The rumor was quite the challenging one, that one of the guards from Thriumph got killed … but the interesting about that was they whispered about the bite. Apparently one of the men dragging that death body out recognized the bite what only started the rumors. Was Thriumph a vampire? Was he conspiring with the darkness? Was a vampire out for vengeance and for that just a innocent single death? So much words and the walls where listening. His name fell more than once, people scared for the damage he could do but they didn’t believe it. Every time again there was somebody suppressing all those suspicions as Thriumph walked by, as he went through his days like the king he always was. He was on edge, his commands where sharper, with more demand. The poor soul, his patience tested to his limits. But the darkness was there, the king knew it, the people felt it and that was enough for the darkness to smile down to them.
With the little sunlight there was Avanti often saw a lot paler, sick in a way. His skin was almost white, dark circles around his eyes, the purple in his eyes only a small hint of a sparkle instead of dominating it. That and the black clothes he wore made him really terrifying to look at. But you didn’t saw him often, when he walked through the castle he was completely alone, just as he was alone looking down over the kingdom from that balcony. It became one of his favorite places in this castle, a place of certain power. If people would look up they would see but the miserable people where all to busy with their lives to notice the bigger threat.
His eyes draw to the main road as his senses picked up something desirable. He rested his hands on the balcony and looked down, slowly smiling as he noticed the guards, surrounding the young princess on her horse. ‘Oh sweet Faylice.’ It came so sweet and innocent over his lips as he pushed away from the balcony and left the room, hiding himself again in the shadows of the castle walls. When he arrived in the courtyard the guard helped her from her horse, Avanti lifted his chin, taking her in from the shadows he was melted in. She wouldn’t notice, nobody would. He squeezed his eyes slightly together, noticing the little scar running over her eyebrow and his teeth softly clenched on the thought that anybody hurted her before he could. She had no idea, what made it so sad and so amusing in a way. He followed her with his eyes as she stroke the horse before the guards left her all alone. Avanti tilted his head, taking every detail of her into his mind. ‘There she is.’ He smiled, his body lingering on the edge of the light as he made himself more visible for her. ‘I was expecting you.’ He said. The smile on his lips was almost general, normal as he stepped into the light, revealing himself to her. ‘I know this may come as a surprise.’ He followed, pointing himself before spreading his arms lightly. ‘But I hope it’s a good one.’ He chuckled slightly amused. Like she would ever like him. He stood still on a little distant of her before he made a bow, eyes keeping hers locked. ‘Faylice.’ He greeted her, his voice holding so much promise, hunger and desire that it would be hard for her to keep the chills together.

Re: Sweet child of mine [Faylice]
She conquered her demons Quietly Faylice could feel her horse move underneath her. It was all so peaceful in the woods covering a large deal of the country. There was a light murmur, the steps of her horse in the ground, the birds somewhere far away singing their songs, some light crunching from probably small predators lingering for their preys. The only disturbing sounds were the mechanical little clicks the armor of the guards surrounding her. It were quite a few, as they literally had closed her horse in from every direction. Still, she wasn’t sure how they could’ve known that she was planning to go to D’auvignon again, and why there were so many. Of course she was the one and only crown princess of Navarre, but she had always preferred to travel in little company and silence, than to have such a parade. The lady had figured Lareth must have had contact with her father, it was still odd that this “reaction” came so fast. With that she knew the guards were loyal to Navarre, and because of that they would be loyal to her. So she decided to go along, ignore the parade as all the guards ignored her. Fiddling with the manes if she got bored, it still was a long trip. The increasing frequency of the so common brick used in D’auvignon, told the lady that she must be close to the capitol. And even though she was so eager to get back and set things straight on court, she couldn’t help but to feel nervous. Surely, being outside for so long made it she encountered a lot of people she didn’t want to meet up with. Making her believe it could not be worse now inside, as her experiences outside teached her enough. Still it was her dad she needed to speak up to, or at least, present herself to again. Thinking about what happened the last time she was in the castle did not make that better. Quickly Fay pushed the thought away, those certainly wouldn’t help, especially not now since the gates were getting in view. As Faylice took in the scenery she felt so familiar yet uncomfortable with they stopped. All of them without saying a word, as if they were nervous for her. Even after she had gotten off her horse there was a strange odd atmosphere even the guards didn’t know how to deal with. ’I can take it from here, thank you.’ Spoke her o so soft words for her as she smiled shortly with the sweet smile her lips could produce. Her fingers found the stallion again, using the excuse to calm herself down before she would step in. Just as she took a deep breath, preparing to move her body towards the dreaded doors her ears picked up the voice that immediately brought the cold shivers down her spines. Turning herself towards the source of the sound, her ice blue eyes grew bigger. The shock visible, stepping back a few steps. As the next words came in Fay squinted, not sure if she wanted to believe what the lady just saw. ’Surprise is probably an understatement.’ She whispered, barely hearable. ’What are you doing here?’ Her voice sounded again, somewhat louder now. Hearing how he pronounced her name made the shivers run only stronger down her spine. ’Avanti’ Slowly she spoke the name, a name she had hoped to never pronounce again. |

Re: Sweet child of mine [Faylice]
Standing against a wall, in the shadow his eyes scouted over the soldiers escorting her. They all looked a little uncomfortable by the change in air, he knew all too well that he was responsible for whatever they were feeling. You couldn’t hide the darkness, you could only hide the source. As she spoke his eyes traveled back to her, clenching his teeth as he maintained his breath over her soft voice. His eyes rested on her tender fingers, stroking over the horse like it was some sort of therapy. She was preparing herself, for her father … a father she wouldn’t have much longer.
As he spoke, so tenderly soft almost her body reacted in all the right ways. Her heartbeat fastened, her breath hitched and her body turned the right way, towards him. He generously rewarded her for that by stepping out of the shadow. Her first direct words made his eyebrows from in amusement. ‘What is it then?’ He asked, tilting his head. ‘Shock? You really thought you wouldn’t see me again?’ His voice dropped a little in the end, like he was sad that she thought that. With her question he clicked his tongue, dismissing it with a shake of his head. But her saying his name, a very slow smile came on his lips, so dangerously slow. ‘I love to hear you say that. Sounds so much more innocent.’ He whispered while gazing her right in the eyes. He squeezed them a little together, like he noticed the change since the last time they saw them. ‘A question for a question, hmmm?’ He asked, gesturing her the way inside the building with a slight smile. ‘I’m here for your father.’ He answered her question. Avanti wasn’t a liar sadly, he could be ruthless honest if he wanted. ‘Now,’ he held the door for her open. ‘How are you doing Faylice?’ He asked, generally serious, he almost stretched his hand, a finger wanting to touch the little scar above her eyebrow but he didn’t. The smile died a little away, his steps hollow and elegant on the same time. ‘Everybody treating you well I hope.’ And that just contained such a warning, not for her really, rather for everybody around her. He strangled his hand through his dark blond hair, shifting aside in the shadow as some soldiers walked through the hallway. He laid his finger against his lips, smiling devious to her. In his mind this was all a game, a little hunt, oh did he love to hunt.

Re: Sweet child of mine [Faylice]
She conquered her demons How things could change with just a mere eye-contact. Just that second ago Faylice was stroking the horse, clearing her mind before she would step into the castle. Preparing herself to arrive on the court she had spent so many years on already. But now the tables had turned, as the lady could feel her insides getting colder. Feeling how the just obtained bravery she had got taken away by every moment more Fay gazed into the purple pits of the man. Quickly her eyes flashed around her, becoming aware very fast she really was alone with the man. The words he spoke made Fay look back towards the man. ’Shock may be a better word.’ She told the man, backing off a step more until the lady felt the shoulder of her horse. Looking at how the man played with the words she gave him. Feeling how the hairs on the back of her neck stood up, giving the cold shivers that made her whole body tremble. The smile the princess got did not make that better. For a moment her eyes darted around, unsure what to do with the sudden change of plans. As she caught them again her eyes got stuck immediately, unable to breath as she stared back. ’Sounds reasonable.’ Fay offered, still not sure if she would really want it. With difficulty the dark haired lady brought her body to move towards the doors. Doors that were already dreading her thoughts, but now it only had worsened. Making her eyes squint for a moment as he answered her question after all. A million questions had already came to mind with those words, making the confusion even bigger. ’I’m doing fine, at least until now.’ The first words calculated as her soft voice spoke, while the last faded out like barely a whisper. Stepping through the doors with the same doubt, the lady held her ice blue eyes closed on the man. Who seemed to be the exact opposite of the nervousness she could feel inside her body. ’Why are you here for my father?’ Giving in to his proposal, it was her turn to ask a question, which pleased her growing curiosity. His hand got close to the fresh scar on the right side of her face. It made Fay hold her breath for that moment, her eyes big. The words of the man let her ice blue eyes hold question. Like a reflex her hand flew towards the same scar, tracing it with her fingers. ’Well enough.’ Was the answer the princess gave him, quickly said before the man shifted towards the walls. As she looked up she saw the soldiers coming up. Making her breath in, preparing to speak up against them. But as her gaze shifted to the side she could see the silent comment, the smile behind it and the two dangerous eyes staring straight through her. Slowly the air released itself over her lips, caught in his grip. Seeing how the opportunity to call for help slowly drifted away. |

Re: Sweet child of mine [Faylice]
He wouldn’t lie, he never did. So when he answered her question she got only more confused. Avanti looked aside him to her, studying her face while she processed this kind of information. He thought she would ask something immediately back but she didn’t, instead of that she answered his. Avanti took a deep breath in, pushing it slowly back out through his nose, cracking his neck in the progress. ‘You wouldn’t lie would you?’ He asked, sounding like he was tired of all the lying around him. ‘I hate liars.’ He stated, giving her a sweet smile, not assuming she was one … just stating his opinion. And if she knew him a little she would know that came as a direct threat.
She owned the game with a new question and Avanti bite his lower lip in anticipation for his own answer. ‘We are having some kind of an arrangement.’ He answered, giving her a joyful look. ‘A deal, you will see tonight.’ He followed, rather airy, like it was no big of a deal that she got invited tonight, to be in between her father and Avanti himself. The guards in the hallway made him sneak back in the shadow. Nobody aside Thriumph and those two guards … well one guard, know he was here. He rather kept it like that for the time being. He saw her looking at them, like she wanted to speak up but she didn’t because of him. ‘My turn,’ he said, stepping back out of the shadow to walk aside her again. He carefully kept his body away from her, knowing whatever touch would be enough to steer his hunger even more. ‘any dark secrets I need to know of while we didn’t saw each other?’ He asked curious. His body lightly took the stairs, almost dancing, knowing the way to her room way to well. His eyes shifted back to the scar, clenching his teeth lightly while opening a door to another hallway. He held it open but in order for her to pas she had to step pretty close aside him. He had that challenging smile on his lips, attractive almost. Challenging her to just that, collect her bravery to be just those two seconds way to close to him.

Re: Sweet child of mine [Faylice]
She conquered her demons Slowly the ice blue eyes shifted down, noticing everything was still the same from their last meeting. The same black coat, the same purple eyes and that same attitude. One that had scared her the first time she had seen him, and was doing at this moment. The shoulder of the horse she was backing up against felt somewhat comforting. But at the same time she wished the horse wasn’t there, so that she could step back, knowing that if she would do that she would eventually lose sight of the man that could haunt her nightmares. It was one of the things her rational thinking part of her mind was suggesting. Just turn around, get back on her horse and run off, back to Valyria. But it was also considering the chances that this meeting was an ordinary coincidence, which would be close to zero. Especially because all of the events since she left the gates in Archeon were just a little off. The sudden loud sound made her jump, feeling the horse she was just leaning in move away. Cursing herself that she let her thoughts slip away the lady made sure she wouldn’t fall. Feeling her heartrate in her troth she heard the words. ’Would you though?’ Squinting her eyes the princess walked through the door, making sure she held the biggest distance possible. The confusion, that was already there, folded itself out even more with the answer on her question. With that, her curiosity came around the corner luring as it did, feeding her the questions she didn’t dare to ask at first. Still Fay held herself strictly onto the rules, because that may be the only thing she would have. The words was rather a threat than anything else. Making the dark haired lady swallow, knowing that she had spoken the words on the optimistic side. ’I wouldn’t’ She spoke, losing the clear side of her voice the longer he was around. But there was the answer, that made the lady look up. Her ice blue eyes investigating, questioning as they tried to seek answer in the purple pits of darkness. The smile in particularly made the cold shivers rise up again, feeling her mind with so much new questions again. Just as she wanted to ask any further the lady withheld herself, keeping the rules. How hard that was. The soldiers walked by, giving her the opportunity, the chance. And she didn’t. Her mind was screaming at her to do so, and still it was like she had lost her ability to speak up. Her eyes longing for them, seeing how they casually minded their own business without paying attention to her. His next words made her gaze shift, looking towards the vanishing guards for one more time. They started walking again, like it was the most normal thing to do her body just moved along the guidance. She could walk the castle hallways in her sleep, as she had spent so much time within them. The next question came in as they reached the stairway which would led to her private chambers. Busy processing the question the lady didn’t even notice he knew the way. ’What do you mean by dark secrets?’ She asked, not sure what answer would please the man next to her. Her eyes flew towards the door that was narrower for a second before she burning question came off her lips anyway. ’Am I here because of that deal?’ Fay blandly asked, frowning with it. The man was quicker than her, holding the door open as he didn’t leave all too much space for her to pass by. Gazing into his eyes she felt the doubt run over her body. Disrupting her walking a couple of moments, considering how hard her mind was screaming at her to don’t come any closer. Slowly she made the last steps, feeling how the atmosphere around her got thicker the closer she got to the man. Squeezing herself through finally as she felt her breathing fasten for those few seconds. As she passed by she accelerated, walking a couple of steps further into the room, hoping the next doorway would never come. |

Re: Sweet child of mine [Faylice]
Liars, it weren’t his favorite people, certainly because he could hear their heartbeat fasten while their faces tried to stay normal. Her heartbeat was already out of control by everything that happened around her so he couldn’t really tell. But her words stated her honesty, yet he could hear the slight change in her face. ‘Excellent.’ He smiled a little on the dark side, giving her a long good look. She looked different, more grown up maybe? Older? He, a vampire, that never changed had a hard time seeing those little changed. He honestly didn’t care about looks but given she was that fine art piece, it was easy to see, especially with that scar above her eyebrow. It was almost challenging him, he didn’t even know why he was getting so upset over it to begin with. But just as everything else you didn’t saw it, still that empty pit of darkness.
She seemed so tempting, but aside a little not the guards passed her without saying a thing. Not even noticing the tensing in her body. If he would be here for a while he surely would try to knock … or bite, some sense in those guards. This were the things he demanded, that they put more interest in the details. But that were just humans, never caring much until the problem was right before their nose. When she took the stairs up his question confused her in her steps. Avanti who never stopped walking aside her almost stretched his arm to keep her forward by giving her a little push in the back. But just like every other urge he stopped the movement before he touched her. ‘Nothing dramatic happened?’ He asked, turning his body half so he stepped backwards, giving her a long promesing look. ‘Do not tell me you don’t have something useful for me,’ he smiled slowly. ‘everybody has secrets.’ He whispered with that same promesing look. But just as much he wanted the answer she was already firing another question. He chuckled, amused by her interest and curiosity as he turned back around and pushed open the door. ‘No love,’ he muttered, challenging her with that look to take the space in that was nothing much. He pressed his tongue against the back of his teeth when she started to squeeze herself between the opening and him. ‘you are the witness.’ He whispered, smelling her sent as she was on the closest part before she almost stepped quickly further. Avanti stayed put in the doorway for a minute, shaking his head before he walked behind her, getting himself back together. ‘Did you ran away from daddy dear?’ He asked, catching up with her, knowing the way to well as he stopped before her door, leaning against the doorframe. ‘You must been tired.’ He guessed, all that charm and deadly perspecion back in his purple eyes. He was playing her and he loved it, at least he kept him from doing other things … for now.

Re: Sweet child of mine [Faylice]
She conquered her demons The man next to her had already pushed her senses to the boundaries, as she had felt them getting sharper. Feeling how her body had tensed up already, ready to jump, move or react at any given moment. But apart from the little moment he spooked her horse away, there wasn’t anything that happened. His words made her think back to the previous, and first time she had encountered the man. She had felt the reaction over her body in the same lengths, but just like now he hadn’t even touched her. Even though her past experience wasn’t the horror her mind made her believe so, she still listened to the “off” vibes the lady got. Cautious and careful. Slowly she nodded towards the question, he had done just that, even though she practically didn’t want to go back there. His next words made her head tilt slightly, as she thought about how he would not do anything without a reason. ’Your reputation states you’re quite high on the list of big monsters, that would not be without a reason.’ Letting her soft voice speak another time, more calculated now as her eyes darting back to the man. The way into the castle had such a double feeling, as automatic as it went the princess could feel herself getting more and more uncomfortable. Maybe it were the long stares, Fay could feel burn over her skin. Feeling how that gaze landed several times on that little scar just above her eyebrow. They walked on, the way getting laid out for her so easily not a single thought was spent on it. Turning back her attention fully as the guards turned around the corner, vanishing from her reach. Walking on the stairs she saw the arm move in the corner of her eyes, but the expected push wasn’t there. It made her grab the handrail in her movement, undergoing another burning stare after his question. For a moment she kept her quiet, letting her thoughts run over the subject so that she could formulate an answer. ’Well, I,’ The lady paused for a moment, wanting to swallow the words immediately after. ’challenged Aeron.’ Unsure she finished her sentence, knowing what would come after. ’And I’ve been to the king in Valyria as well.’ Recovering her previous words her voice had gotten clearer again, as she still tried to keep her calm for as long as possible. Moving through the narrow doorway made her whole body tense up even more, holding her breath while she stepped through. As if there was something terrible that was going to happen if she came too close. It still didn’t. Apart from a whispering he laid so softly into her ear. Bring the weakened cold shivers back as soon as it landed. Fay walked on, but stopped when she realised the man wasn’t going with her. ’I am the witness of what?’ The same cautiousness was hearable as her voice got worried, again. Within seconds the man was next to her again, overtaking. Realising they were at the door of her private chambers Fay looked up, frowning while the first thought on their walk through the castle was finally there. The next question made her ice blue eyes dart to the ground, as if she was trying to find an answer in the ground. ’I did.’ Her eyes looked back up, unsure as her words were barely hearable again. Whispering like she didn’t dare to say it. ’Tired?’ Fay asked, her head tilting a little. ’It was a long trip.’ Suggesting after, slowly spoken. ’But it’s not that bad.’ The final words, considering the fact that she wanted to do so much already on the day of her arrival, begin tired would not be one of them. But at the same time, she had not expected this sudden turn of events either. |

Re: Sweet child of mine [Faylice]
Her hand grabbed towards the handrail just after he almost pushed her slightly in the back. He suppressed a chuckle, looking straight in front of him as he waited patiently for her answer. The last time they saw it each where a couple of months ago, it couldn’t be that nothing happened in the meantime, from where would she has that scar otherwise? He almost stopped as she started softly, knowing, hearing that what she was gonna say was serious. His expressions flattened for just a second before the surprise came on his face. ‘You challenged Aeron? Thriumph his brother? You?’ He asked, softly laughing, proud almost. ‘You always seem to surprise me princess. What did you do?’ He whispered, nodding approvingly. He sounded so normal in that moment that you couldn’t even notice that he was the real monster here. Or at least until she talked about the king of Valyria. ‘Larethian.’ Something in his voice became a little darker. ‘My friend, or at least,’ he chuckled, clenching his teeth. ‘was.’ He finished, getting his underlying anger back in control. In a flash that smile was back, like nothing even happened. Larethian was a sensitive subject for the king of the undead, he asked himself if she would know, what Larethian once was. But he lost the thoughts as she tried to squeeze herself in between him and the door.
The little game they played, a question for a question wasn’t really a game anymore. She talked rather normal to him, like he wasn’t all that bad. If she was to scared she wouldn’t say a thing, she wouldn’t even ask what was going to happen with her father. But she did, what only said she was pretty sure he wouldn’t react to bad on it. Avanti looked up, pressing his lips together while he thought of a good way. ‘An upgrade.’ He finally said, nodding to her. ‘I’m gonna help him improve in a way.’ He wasn’t lying, but he wasn’t telling her the real truth either. He asked himself how long it would take for her to figure it out.
As they arrived at her door Avanti leaned himself in the doorway, for a moment looking to the closed door before looking back to her. ‘Why?’ He asked curious. Why would she run away from this castle. Surly Larethian wasn’t that good a babysitter. He knew the king and Thriumph where rather familiar, but caring for one another their children … maybe to much. When he asked if she was tired he gave her an easy choose. She could have said she was … then he would leave her alone. But she didn’t and a slow smile rose on his lips. ‘Can I come in then?’ He asked softly, with that intense look like he was compelling her to say yes. He held it just long enough before his eyes darted back into the hallway. ‘What people would say if they saw you standing here with me.’ He lifted his hand, stretching his finger but not yet touching her. ‘So much temptation so close by.’ He whispered, drawn in the sound of her heartbeat. He swallowed, tearing his eyes away from her as he pushed away from the hallway. ‘You should at least take a little rest, it will be a long night.’ He suggested, impatience, on edge. He shook his head, trying to get himself together before throwing her a fast grinn. ‘Or unless you have more questions.’ Leaving her the choice again, folding his hand with ease together behind his back, his pale face probably even more tired then hers. Days were not for him, he was a creature of the night, something you saw but couldn't feel.

Re: Sweet child of mine [Faylice]
She conquered her demons It was so suspiciously quiet in the hallways, it made the lady look around just to confirm really no one was out there. She remembered being a busy place, maybe not as busy as D’auvignon with its traders and markets, but more than this. There were no mumbling sounds, no distant footsteps that were hearable a few hallways away, in the old castle you could hear everything in. It made her wonder if it was already a while like this, or that she had just walked in on the wrong moment. Which she already did, since everything was different than she had expected anyways. The ice blue eyes shifted back to the man, who was certainly pleased with her statement. It made another set of shivers run over her whole body, softly squinting her eyes. His words hit the spot, driving her mind into another gear forward. ’So why does a monster like you,’ She used his words, her voice taken up with curiosity. ’would even want to protect, me?’ Her eyes big and questioning, trying to find any answers into the empty purple pits. ’I’m not bothered though.’ Quickly Fay spoke the words after, she would rather see this side than any other. The curiosity that came up inside of her was not easily satisfied, as it started growing bigger. It caused for her to lay down her questions quicker, but made her hunger stir up as well. Making her answers to flow out far too easy, just so that the dark haired lady could ask another question. So it was with this answer, slowly searching further with her eyes. The surprise made Fay smile faintly for a second, hearing the little shock the man next to him had. Momentarily she gazed at the floor. ’Do I now?’ Her voice questioned, letting the smile vanish completely as she thought about how she would explain it the best. ’I stumbled upon him, I really didn’t want to.’ The lady’s face pulled itself in a frown, eyes darting to the ground for another moment. ’It didn’t end all to well either.’ The thoughts visited that one evening once more, thinking about she had ended in the mud, seeing almost nothing other than her own blood that ran over her face. Before her mind could wander off anymore the man started talking again, reacting to her little visit to Lareth. It had saved her, that was one thing. ’Oh?’ The ice blue pits lingered again. In the meantime her mind was losing its grip on the hunger for more information, something she had always have problems with. The next words came in, which made Fay squint her eyes slightly again. It sounded, suspicious. A little doubt ran over her thoughts, but she couldn’t resist to ask further. Knowing that, if he would answer further, she would eventually reach a point where she would curse herself for asking so far. ’Do I want to know in what way?’ That little insecurity was hearable in her voice. But as her eyes glanced towards the door of her chambers he asked the dreaded question she would rather have avoided. One simple word, enough to stir her nervousness back up. ’He,’ She paused as she softly bit on her lower lip. ’fixed a previously made mistake.’ Almost cold she gave her answer, pushing away the event as a whole. Realising Fay had answered his question without thinking about it for too long she immediately regretted. She could’ve said she wanted to be alone, to recover from the long trip, but no, she had to be stubborn. Not showing her weakness that quickly. The next question came in soon, even though it was given as a request, his burning look formed it into more of a command. Feeling stuck gazing into the intense purple eyes of the man. Her mind was silently screaming at her, in that moment of silence. No .. ’Yes.’ It was like there was no other word she could say but that. She could feel her nerves get fired up, realising he had already somewhat of a grip on her. ’Well, nobody is around today.’ Innocent her eyes gazed again, just stating the fact she had been observing the whole way through. Faylice her eyes trailed his hand, his slender fingers as they got close to her again. For a moment her eyes kept resting on those fingers, as they still wouldn’t touch her skin. She sensed her body rushing again with the small gesture, or what it could be called. Unsure how to react on his words, as they scared her in the way. ’What are you planning?’ The dark haired lady asked eventually, getting slightly worried for the first time. |

Re: Sweet child of mine [Faylice]
That she kept surprising him brought his mood a little back and he tilted his head. ‘Come on, you are human, not because I live already so long that I can’t be surprised anymore.’ He winked. He noticed that her confident was slipping back and that was something he had to feed, with charm necessary. As she talked her voice shifted a little, drawn back in the memory and Avanti clenched his teeth together. ‘Did he gave you that?’ He asked, pointing his finger to her eyebrow where just a fraction of a scar was still visible. Now he wanted to know, offcourse he wanted to know. His persistent radiating look down to her said already enough, he didn’t even used his words.
It was a simple word, poured in an question and he slowly looked back aside. Larethian, where even to begin. First a monster and now a descent king, he pulled it off quite nice, had it all figured out. ‘Everybody has secrets, you, me … even Larethian. His is a pretty dark one. You should ask him about it some day.’ He looked aside to her, challenging her almost to do so. He would pay gold to see the kings face as Faylice said she met Avanti. Another point of leverage. But Larethian was not her main concern as he just said that her father would get an upgrade. Her question came with such an insecurity that Avanti almost rolled his eyes. ‘You will see.’ He answered, almost reassuring. ‘I will be there, to,’ he chuckled. ‘protect you, remember.’ She probably would need it, newborn vampires had a huge hunger. The only thing between the new Thriumph and her would be him. Those thoughts amused him and he almost forgot he asked why she ran away when she answered, codly. He opened his mouth, to comment on her rather cold answer but instead he closed it, squeezing his eyes lightly. ‘Care to share?’ He asked. Normally he would force it out but he know he would have far better results in this way, asking nicely. He had to be honest, all that friendly behavior was working his nerves, yet you didn’t noticed the annoyance on his face.
His intensity, his curiosity was immediately sparked when he stood aside her door and she didn’t told him she was tired and needed rest. The whole goal of this conversation was to get her trust and cooperation. She was the next person for on the throne, he wanted to secure that position. So when he asked if he could come in she was just looking and he looked right back. In those long seconds he wanted to do nothing else then grab her face and sink his teeth down in her neck. But just as his eyes became to darken in desire she said yes. And there it was, she caved for a monster. All his manipulation had made his purpose. He really should get into that room but he kept stuck on her eyes, lifting his hand but without the touching. He could see her looking and he kept them in place for a reaction. It was like she almost wanted it, he felt her heart overrush in the urge of wanting to touch him. The power rushed through his body, eager on getting things done. He forgot about his annoyance, his magic worked, at least that charm was something good for. Her question interrupted that moment and Avanti lowered his hand softly as he laid it on the doorknob and pushed it open. He nodded with his head inside and when she turned her back he couldn’t resist on the darkness crawling all over his face. His smile was nothing but heartless as he looked how his priced animal, his victim, walked into her room. He looked shortly into the hallway before walking behind her in her room. This wasn’t the first time, he had been here sometimes before, waiting for her. ‘Your father asked me something and I’m granting it him.’ He turned away from the door to her. This is what he wants so don’t start judging me for it.’ He already was gluing the pieces for afterwards. ‘I’m gonna be honest, you gonna see some things you won’t like. He invited a monster into his home,’ his words trailed as he gave her a promising look. ‘a monster he will get." He pushed his fingers through his dark blonde hair, turning around his body before he laid his eyes on her bed. It seemed like the most normal thing, like he was a boyfriend coming to visit. He let himself fall on it, closing his purple eyes as he softly hummed in the thoughts of tonight. ‘We gonna have so much fun.’ He muttered to himself, enjoying the darkness he felt around him, feeding his energy with it. He wanted to say she didn’t need to be scared but he wanted her … he wanted her to scream, to fight, he desired so much of her that he almost couldn’t wait until tonight.

Re: Sweet child of mine [Faylice]
She conquered her demons The curiosity within the lady was sparked. Stirred up as you could say. Ignoring her the rational part of her brain completely as she kept searching further. Pushing towards the boundaries even though she was the complete opposite of comfortable around the man. Maybe it was the dark atmosphere that hung around him, maybe he was that mysterious Fay was getting desperate to know more. Knowing that she always had a weakness for the blind spots she wasn’t sure about. What the dark haired lady was doing, was dangerous and somewhere deep within she knew, it just held her into too tight of a grip. Making her push through rather than stop. His words made her look up, as she got the first sign she was really pushing the same boundary. The lady saw the neutral expression. And with any other she would push through, luckily Fay had still that scratch of sense left. The subject changed to the surprise Fay had caused, making her push up a brow for just a moment. Seeing how he gave a little wink, challenging her to smile back as she did. ’Must be harder, since you’ve seen it all.’ Suggesting with the same innocence the princess had before, her smile fading when she thought about what her uncle had done that night. It was quite the eventful night, giving her something she could remember for the rest of her life. Softly her hand raised to her brow again, as she still exactly knew where the scar begun and ended. For a couple of seconds she let her slender fingers follow the curved line down towards her brow. Tracing every little bumph she could find on it. ’Yes, he did.’ Her voice was barely a whisper, releasing the touch to the scar again. She had said some stupid things, pushing the little confidence the lady had way too far. ’A nice gift as he called it.’ The soft voice of the lady closed the subject for her, pushing the thoughts away with those words. Avanti spoke again, about Lareth it was this time. Her ice blue eyes cleared up again, feeling how her curiosity strengthened itself again. Tilting her head slightly into the words her thoughts ran back to her time in Valyria. She had pushed her questions there too, and had gone over those borders as well. Figuring this would have at least something to do with him, since she didn’t know that much about the past of the current king. ’I will.’ Almost like she was compelled the dark haired lady reacted. But before she could think about it the man already spoke again. Stepping on her insecurity she could feel the shivers run down her spine again. Even though the fear had fallen down to the background that little bit more, she still wasn’t comfortable. Not sure why she spoke so openly an easily towards the man that made the air around her harder to breath in. Still she could feel how it shifted, in some moments making her able to take air, another feeling like there was a heavy weight pushing on her slender shoulders. His question asked lightly, whilst the subject wasn’t that at all for Faylice herself. But it was like she wanted to him to keep being this nice to her. Like she was afraid she would see another side if she didn’t cooperated that nicely as the lady was doing now. ’I’ Doubtful Fay spoke, really not wanting to tell, but doing it anyways. ’I was pregnant.’ The soft voice spoke as airy as it could, sending off the real weight it had on the princess. ’Was.’ A little sigh flowed off her soft lips, her eyes shifting towards the door they just arrived at. The regret was almost visible on the pale face of the lady. Getting paler by the minute. She had just invited the man into her room. There were really no one would see her. With that, no one really knew she was in the castle, apart from those guards she had arrived with. They wouldn’t seek for her, as they had other business to attend to. The nervousness struck up again, feeling his eyes burn into her back. Especially after their little pause in the doorway, she could still feel her hearth rush, now in her troth. Turning around she gazed at him with the same ice blue eyes, following the movements he made. Hearing the words it just suddenly clicked. It was like the ground had disappeared from underneath her feet. Feeling how her breathing gasped a little for a moment. ’Are you turning him?’ Fay her eyes widened, seeing how the man had chosen his place on her bed. Falling so nonchalantly on it. Word after word she heard, making her step back. ’Tonight?’ |

Re: Sweet child of mine [Faylice]
The more the air changed around them, following his mood, the faster Faylice started to adapt to it. On a certain level it didn’t harm her anymore if he got sharper, not like it did the first time they met. She started to anticipate his behavior, started to accept it maybe. That was precisely what he wanted, for her to relax around him enough to spill the secret. And spilling she did. When he asked why she ran off she answered something about a mistake. Curious to her mistake he asked rather than commanding it. But the answer as not what he had expect. His body froze in the doorway, ice cold eyes looking down to her as his brain worked over hours. She was pregnant, was? His eyes lowered down to her stomach, for just a second before his jaws tensed. He had marked her the moment she stepped from her horse, every word behind it was a trigger to his possessive behavior. ‘Was?’ He repeated, so cold, so distant, so totally Avanti. It took him a moment, in his mind racing the possibilities of that scenario. ‘What happened Faylice?’ He asked with a voice that was completely under control, soft almost. But his eyes carried such a demand she wouldn’t be able to ignore it.
Even with this all she still invited him and he used his eyes to roam her chamber rather than to look at her. The longer he silenced himself the more he regained control over himself. If Ayana would see him she probably would force him to bite Faylice, given he could silence her afterwards. She had said a few things that got him on edge, a scar, a lost pregnancy … and here he was thinking he would need to keep a close eye on Thriumph. He could better spend his days hunting her around then sitting aside an immortal king. This was the freedom he took from her, this possessive behavior of him only because he wanted to secure the throne if Thriumph would fall away. If he was inside already mad because of that, god help her if she did something like that now.
As he landed on her bed, falling into her smell the thoughts slipped away out of his mind and his head became a little more clear. He massaged the hunger away uit of his temple. With closed eyes he looked almost peaceful. But that was until she figured it out and his purple eyes flew open again. He laid completely still, gazing to the ceiling while he waited her real panic. But it didn’t came, not right away anyway. He was surprised it took a clever girl as her so long to figure it out. When she hinted that it would happen tonight he slowly pushed up on his elbows, a deadly serious look on his face as he nodded on her two questions. When she walked one step back he was in a flash between her and the door, slowly shaking his head as he run his hand back to his hair. ‘Faylice.’ He whispered, so sweet, so convincing. ‘He wants this,’ he clenched his teeth together. Her heart was racing and his eyes lowered to her neck. ‘If you would know how it feels you would understand.’ He wrapped his hand over his own mouth, slowly lowering it before he made a fist of it. ‘Don’t make me do this now. I can explain it but you will have to see it, I want you to see it.’ He lifted both his hands, wanting to lay them around her face but in the end they just hang above her shoulders. ‘I’m here for you, to protect you.’ He sounded so convincing in his words, fisting his fingers again before pulling them softly back. He wasn’t here for her, she wasn’t the main reason. It was a partly lie. But all he could think of right now was to sink his teeth down in her throat, then she would understand because a little bit of his vampire vennow was enough for her to start craving it more, to crave him more ...

Re: Sweet child of mine [Faylice]
She conquered her demons Swiftly Fay her body still moved, along the man that seemed to play a game with her. Flowing around, luring her in. Her head could state it perfectly, while feeling the purple eyes burn through her skin yet again. That being said, she already was incapable of escaping the grip on her. She knew that as well, feeling how she longed for more information, more facts to know. The words he spoke made her want to dart back, but at the same time lean in even more. ’Am I that surprising to you then?’ Slowly she tilted her head, showing the eagerness in her blue eyes. Wanting to know how and what he thought of her, and if it would be the same as everyone else did at first glance. It was so dangerous, too dangerous to gaze any longer than a few seconds. But she did, seeing how the man clenched his teeth by her words. Making her question the empty purple pits even more, confused about almost everything that happened between them. Or, didn’t. Her eyes rested for a moment, letting his words run through her mind a time more. ’I don’t think he would care like I did.’ The dark haired lady stated, serious as she was. She couldn’t read Avanti, nor could she prepare herself, anticipate on anything. How the atmosphere changed around him, changing more and more as she was aside. With his sudden hold of movement she held back as well, like it was an automatic, normal thing to do. Squeezing her eyes before darting them back into the ground. It had gotten to that subject again, in which she was happy she could push her previous words out. Trying to push away the emotion the lady looked back up. Finding excuses in her head, vanishing with that burning gaze. That same gaze that made her invite him in, one she couldn’t resist. ’He killed it.’ Fay shivered, visible through her whole body. Feeling how that scar that laid on her abdomen prickled, tingled by the mere thought of it. As the man walked further into her chambers she could feel the air getting back into her lungs. Feel the weight lift off for just that little bit. Making her shoulders tense down, as her mind was already busy with fixing her previous words. Because inviting this man in was just such a bad idea. Sharp as the princess still was she followed every movement the man made. So seemingly relaxed, nonchalant like he did these things on a daily bases. Which made her wonder what he truly did, apart from building up that huge reputation. But as it finally clicked it all fell together. Fay felt stupid for not figuring out the thing earlier, as the fact were pushed underneath her nose. The next thing that came to mind was how badly timed her return could have been. She would soon be stuck in a castle with two of those monsters, making her mind freak out for the most part. Her burning heartrate fired up once more, her senses sharpened. Taking those few steps back, back towards the door, the outside and maybe the only way out she had. Just while she took her second step back, he was already there. A split second ago he was still there, laying on her bed, and now the man blocked that precious way out. Quickly the dark haired lady turned around, facing the man as she took a step back again. Seeing, feeling how that same burning gaze shifted towards her neck. ’But I don’t know how it feels.’ Very compulsive as she could feel the panic rise up from deep within. Frustrated almost by that huge dark cloud that hung over her evening plan. Momentarily tracing his hands before she looked in the purple eyes again. ’Please do protect me.’ Stepping back that last step to enlarge the rather small distance between them, desperate to get out of the situation she had just gotten herself into. |

Re: Sweet child of mine [Faylice]
Her looking, it became longer, intenser a sign that she wasn’t afraid to look anymore. He kept his gaze carefully on her as she spoke again about the scar that shattered her beautiful face. It broke her fragility, or at least the fragility he thought she had. Maybe she was right, not that he cared but the thought of that man looking down to a scar she placed wanted him to kill and destroy. A scar wasn’t that bad after all, everybody had scars, everybody except for Avanti, a vampire skin was harmless and he had been a vampire for way to long. It were her next words that made his blood freeze right and there on the spot. She had been pregnant and it was killed. Would that leave a scar to. His face was empty as he looked down to her, to the emotions, the doubt in her eyes. He just looked, kept her eyes caged in his while his thumb stroke over his other fingertips. He had little feelings for pregnancy, or for anything really so he didn’t said a thing. He let his eyes do the talking, forcing them to show a little compassion before he could lose his mind. Maybe he should cage her, restrain her, imprison her. The longer he looked, the more the idea sounded appealing to him. Luckily her room was the release of that gaze, a second longer and he would do things he couldn’t take back.
Falling down on her bed he released the energy this all took from him. This was not Avanti, this kind, this patience, this charming … he would never be like this. But given he had to it was almost as easy as killing. Ayana understood the matter, that they needed Faylice as much as they needed Thriumph. If the princess would escape Navarre and go back to Larethian they were screwed. No, Avanti wanted her to go back some day, but with her heart in his power. He would release her one day, it was just the same manipulation he used on Delaney to, waiting for them to fear him but still desire him. And for that he didn’t care how strong his mask and act had to be, as long as he could break her.
He was hardly visible in his way from her bed to the door, blocking the one way that could lead to her freedom. His lips parted before they came back together, eager and in hunger. Her words, her confession made his eyes trail back down. She would be a poor vampire, not capable on doing anything bad. But that wasn’t key of being a vampire, it was the bloodlust, the power immortality gave you that strengthened you. ‘No.’ He whispered, seeing how she stepped back even more. ‘I’m gonna make your father invisible, I will give him a power and strength he didn’t had before. That is what my venom does,’ he tilted his head, looking her straight in the eyes. ‘I can let you taste it, just a little bit but you would have to let me,’ He felt silence, wiping the strains of dark blonde hair out of his face. And then she said something that let his mouth slowly fall open, a warm breath leaving his lips as he looked at her. ‘I will.’ He nodded softly. It would come against a price but that she didn’t realize, not in all this panic at least. ‘I promise.’ And just those two words sounded so affectional, so deep and tender almost while his insides were screaming. While he wanted to no nothing else then rip her apart. He hardly recognized himself in all of this but patience was key and after tonight it would be all so much better.
