Because of the family traith the Liaran family puts a lot of time into healing, both body and mind. Emery learned to have full control over her own magic in which she is able to cure wounds, not only with herself but also on others. Healing the mind is on the other hand a bigger struggle for her, one she yet need to contain a little bit better.

PERSONALITY
PATIENCE
Patience is virtue in an elf. Emery has every aspect an elf has to be, she loves the nature, she loves her family and she overly calm and patience. Yet Emery can endure a lot before she loses it. You won’t see her that much angry, you won’t see her lash out. She can endure long waits and isn’t the one to push somebody to the limits. For her everything rests on being patience, her strong believe in life still encouraged her that if the time is there her patience will be rewarded. For that she doesn’t has any ill will or a bad temper, she generally outs herself to be in control of a situation just by pressuring that patience to the front.

EMOTIONAL
It is not that she will be crying by the first thing crossing her path. In that way she can control her emotions very well. What is is … Emery let herself go on her emotions. She won’t show them that easy, certainly not the bad once but she tend to go with the flow on them. That causes a slight unbalanced spirit, Emery can be overly joyed by a friendship, to joyed she keeps on following it. Same for love, she just clenches herself to it and forgets herself in the process sometimes. If an emotion is overpowering her she can’t see the bad or the good in something. If she is sad by a loss she won’t be able to forget or forgive the person who made that loss happen. It takes a lot of time before she realizes what her emotions are leading her to, and when she finds her way back she often doesn’t need much to fall back in her old habits.

CALM
Emery is incredible good hearted. What means that you can put the most of evil before her nose, she will always remain calm and see the best. That is … if there is a logical explanation. If a human kills a woman because he just wants to she will not be so generous as she looks, she won’t be able to forgive that easily. But if it is revenge or something with an reason she can look pretty much past the problem. She is a peaceful race, always wanting the best. In every situation, how stressful it can be Emery will always look solid calm, that doesn’t mean her insides are screaming, you just won’t see it in her expressions. She always tries to direct a situation into a good ending, tries to put effort in changing. She truly believes in her own lifestyle, one of peace and prosperity.

INDEPENDENT
Emery loves to do the things by herself. She loves to go out on herself, she loves to challenge herself with new things. For that she is often on her own and it doesn’t bother her. Being independent she also knows to be strong in both head and mind. Emery learned to defend herself, she is a rather good swordsmen. You can challenge her, she will always show herself as an independent strong woman, but sometimes looks deceive. Her mind game isn’t always that strong for you can beat her easier mental then in a single combat fight. Yet she isn’t the best there is, not choosing bow and arrow makes her different then the others in her family. Her parents approve of her independents, yet they are cautious on showing her the ways, wanting her to be prepared on everything there is in the world. But Emery is confident, a strong independent woman ready to touch the world.

BACKGROUND
Emery is a pure blood … like every elf. As every elf her whole life is in sign of a clean, peaceful and proud life. As every elf Emery comes out of a long line of magic users, hidden in the woods of Forlindon. She never knew another place aside of that, that same magical forest where elf live in harmony together with one another. Emery was never a troubling kid, from little on she showed a lot of patience and capacity in observation. She has a big family, with mostly healers among them, something she from little on looked up to. Emery often sat aside her mother as she used her healing powers, trying to take over the work her parents always did she was around for most of the time. When her little sister was born things changed a little, Kali wasn’t an easy child, a lot of crying, a lot of sleepless nights. But her parents never lost their patience, they raised her in the same way they raised Emery and Elre.

But the birth of Kali forced Emery to go socialize with other members of her family. She landed with an aunt, one of the biggest healers Forlindon had. Still learning she followed her aunt more around, getting to know new places in the forest, more people. It was there that Emery noticed there was more to the world then her small cocon of love and admiration. As the bowmen of Forlindon left for a mission she was often looking from behind the trees, wondering what was more out there. So she made herself a promise, if she could beat her own elder brother and could heal a person on her own she would leave Forlindon to go see the world.

Emery was 18 years old when her own aunt fell sick. In all the time between making her own that promise and then she didn’t stopped learning and growing, becoming a better fighter, a better healer. But her aunt getting sick broke her right into. The woman that learned her so much over the years fought for her life. It was then that her mother told her to be not so inflicted with her own emotions, to conquer that fear of losing and turning it into the spirit of a confident healer. Emery did that, fighting her own will power in finding a way to cure her aunt. It took her a whole year in doing so, collecting herbs, making potions and endless hours aside her aunt's bed. But in the end her aunt healed, recovered from what was yet an unknown disease. Her aunt always told her it was her patience saving her, that and her clear young mind. For Emery it was a step closer to that little bit of freedom. The only thing she needed to do was winning from her own brother. Emery is 22 when she challenges her brother on of the events held every year. Games, food, a lot of joy and clean spirits. Feeling that her body and mind are connected as one she finds her parents in asking if she could participate in the fighting event. It is then that her mother asks her to sit down, explaining how good a match she would be to the son of another somewhat higher family. Her parents never raised their voices, never caused a fight and here she was, standing in what she believed was her peaceful life and the certain offer her parents made … binding herself to another elf, to secure that pure bloodline. Keeping on that calmness she told them that she needed to think about it.

Emery vanished that day. She didn’t took her stuff with her, only the sword that her brother made for her. She just disappeared out of Forlindon. She never competed her brother, she never made true to her own promise. She just ran away, as a coward not being able to see the goodness in her parents offer she left Nymerwell in a hurry, always looking over her shoulder, knowing somebody would look for her, her brother, her father, her little sister. She would not bind herself to a person she didn’t love, not even for a blood line so pure, so she did  the one thing imaginable, traveling the world in the hope they wouldn’t find her.
