Because she has been a slave for as long as she knows, she is very good at behaving. She is also very shy to people but can be brave when it comes down to doing her duty. There is actually only one thing she is really afraid of and that is mostly for what would happen if she were to disobey her master/owner, so she makes sure she never does that. She is primarily afraid of violence as the result of that, or maybe for the feeling that comes with it. Failure.

History:

Indira's family lived in extreem poor conditions, not being able to properly feed everyone. Her mother became very sick and she needed a lot of care. That's why her father sold Indira to a slavemaster, because he couldn't take care of both his wife and his dauther. He thought that it may offer a better life for his dauther, because now at least she could eat without the risk of starving to death.
She was being sold to Tengiz El Jaouhari, who she served for many years, til recently he lost her in a drunken bet. Now she belongs to Ravir Hargrove.
