Knowledge is no power. Power is power

A pair of brown eyes focused on a possible target. As he met her gaze, she showed him the faintest smile. He immediately assumed this meant she was interested and, well, who could blame him? It wasn’t that often he’d have a pretty girl staring at him, probably. Especially not one looking as different as she did, wearing a dress with tights underneath even though the area was freezing. Her long coat didn’t show the dress, however, and the layer of fur on top of it kept her neck warm, at least.


She managed to invite the boy to a date later in the evening, where she’d find out if he had any specialties. She had no use for magickless creatures. She needed them to be… powerful, or at least have something of use in the blood she’d draw. A sigh left her lips, while her hand went through her long hair. She was a natural blonde, but it was rare for her to go out without using one of her chemicals to dye it in a different color. Today’s color was silver. With a young face like hers one could pull a look like that off without looking like someone’s grandmother.


The woman raised her brows when she noticed a person further down the road. The wife of the Jarl? But what would she be doing here? It seemed like the woman would pass her on her way to wherever as well, so Allison kept walking, waiting until the brown-haired woman should be about to pass by her, when she opened her mouth. “How… Unusual,” she spoke, wondering if she grabbed her attention. While Allison had created a name for herself where people started calling her a witch for her alchemy, she doubted this lady had ever heard of her.
