CHARACTER: (…) he was a bitter, tormented soul, a sinner who mocked both gods and men. He served, but found no pride in service. He fought, but took no joy in victory. He drank, to drown his pain in a sea of wine. He did not love, nor was he loved himself. It was hate that drove him.

Hard as iron. Gald is seen as a violent, aggressive and a brutal man, with a fatalistic view of the world. He is a formidable warrior and he doesn't hide his love of killing people, believing all men love it, Gald generally hates soldiers who try to convince themselves otherwise. However, he also displays small hints at being a reasonably affectionate and compassionate man underneath from time to time.

Gald suffers from pyrophobia as a result of a trauma in which Aeron Medici unleashed his fire bending on him after they had a rather vengeful discussion. The psychological side effect of this has caused Gald to freeze up in situations that could result in his death wether fire is involved.

LOOKS
The man is large, reaching over 1.93 cm. The construction of his body is broad. He has longer dark brown hair which he almost all the time wears rather messy. He prefers to wear his armor as it protects him all the time. He regularly wears plain armor. But if he put his armor off he likes to wear some rags. Gald never fancied expensive clothing and beautiful crowns. He likes to be comfortable and fast than looking fancy.

Gald has dark colored eyes which fade from a darker brown towards black. He has a weary look on his face and the right part of his face is burned heavily. Over the years the scars have faded somewhat and make him less gruesome. But they are still noticeable by any who pass by.

He has a gaunt face and sharp cheekbones. He has long dark brown hair that he brushes over the burned section of his head where no hair grows. He has no right ear, a twisted mass of scars around his right eye and down by his jaw, bone is apparent, where the skin had burned away.

As a warrior, Gald is feared for his imposing size and physical strength. In combat, his strength gives him a huge advantage over almost any opponent, which allows him to defeat men who have far more skill. His weapon of choice is an enormous great sword that most men would never be able to swing with even two hands, but which Gald is strong enough to wield one-handed. Gald is a skilled swordsman but favors heavy strikes and brute force, he utilizes his sword in a one-handed style. Gald is atleast compentently skilled in using a warhammer and daggers.

WEREWOLF
As the moon rises at the sky and he changes into the demon he is, large black fangs appear. His coat varies from dark brown towards black and his eyes glow a certain white and red. The burning scars have also affected his werewolf form.

Red as blood and gushing from deep in the ground, it symbolises life and strength. This image of strength is accentuated by the winding, twisted and wilful shape of the vine stock, which seems to have gone through many battles to offer its blood to mortals!
