In depth: Cass behaves like a cat most of the time. He has a major attitude, and believes he can get away with anything because he is generally loved by people. He mainly does what he wants and does not really take the people around him into consideration. One moment he can be extremely playful, curious and eager for attention. The next he turns around and prefers to be left alone to take a well-deserved nap. He is full of mischief and loves to annoy people. His behaviours are convincingly natural, and the longer he stays in his cat form, the less human he eventually becomes.

• HISTORY
Cassian was born to two loving parents, followed by his little brother Emmitt, three years later. He discovered his shapeshifting abilities when he was six years old, after which he spent more days as a cat than an actual human. Of course he has been training, the basic training every kid gets from the moment they can hold weapons. But he was never too serious about it. His little brother, on the other hand, turned out to be a very dedicated and naturally good fighter. This caused his parents to shift all their focus towards him, as they wanted him to fight in next the Conclave.

From that point on, it was as if Cassian didn’t exist to his parents anymore. He would wander outside for days at a time, and his parents wouldn’t even notice he was gone. He was a disgrace to them, and the Mother, because he didn’t train as hard as Emmitt. Little Cassian had to survive on his own, which wasn’t really a problem. As a small kitten, lots of people gave him bits to eat. He is still underweight, but he at least survives. The only thing that makes it really hard, is the lack of love and attention. That’s why he ends up stalking people. He just wants to be noticed, and matter to someone for once.
