(What happened in reality; his body got into some sort of shock, which triggered acute muscle paralysis. His whole body wasn't capable in moving anymore, that's why people thought he stopped breathing and died)

Character;
Silas is an insecure and a shy young man who mostly tries to hide his insecurity with a smile. He never really lets himself go in the presence of strangers, afraid that they'll find him weird or dislike him once he shows the "true" him. This makes him appear at first sight as a silent person, who seems to want to disappear rather than being present. When meeting someone new he can be very clumsy, unable to find the right words to say, but he would not be less friendly. He's a very honest person, who likes to please everyone, often forgetting himself in this act. From time to time Silas opens up a bit more than usual,  sometimes daring to pull some mischief against the circus family. However, this insecure behavior completely disappears as soon he steps into the lion cage, doing an act. Once he does, he seems like a total "different" person. Actually it's the true Silas coming out of his shell. In the cage he's confident and strong, with no trace of any fear. Thriving to enjoy the audience. But once his act is over, Silas immediately crawls back into his save shell. The shell where no human can hurt him.
