Vampires

We all know the legends, we all know the stories … about the shadows, the blood thirsty demons of the night who feed on the innocent, hunt under the moon. But from where come these so called demons? What are their abilities and their weaknesses? How do they trick people in becoming one of them and what happens when you starve a vampire out? All that you can read below.

For all that comes as there strong points vampires aren’t always on their best. A weak vampire is a lot more vulnerable than one in full strength. Vampires who don’t feed themselves over weeks tend to get slower reflexes. They can walk in the sun but again, daylight weakens them to a certain level. The older the vampire is, the stronger they are, yet there are things you can take a vampire down with. A werewolf bite, a wooden stake or pure silver can wound a vampire to a level they can’t use their body properly anymore. It will weaken them, wound them and it will take time to heal. Young vampire have more need in blood then elder ones, for that they are very unstable and unpredictable … and also weak. Those are the major weaknesses a vampire can have.

But what about their bite? Their venom? Vampires usually use their venom for one thing only, to make new vampires. Yet they release with every bite a little bit of that venom, giving the human an extreme symptom of pleasure, sleepiness or power. It depends from human to human but because of that vampire venom can be quite addicting to humans. If a vampire wants to make another human he simply releases more venom in a bite, pushing it through the human veins, let it consume the body. The only thing left to do then is for the human to die and be reborn as a vampire. The progress between dying and getting reborn takes a little time, for the venom starts turning the person into an immortal. A reborn vampire is extremely hungry and needs blood within the 24 hours to guarantee his survival.

As a vampire you are gifted with a particular set of skills, skills that others may hate you over, skills that others will love you for. It is stated that vampires supposed to live alone … but not us, not we monsters you hate so much, not we monsters you whisper about in the streets. I know there are a lot out there hating us, what do we do, killing, praying, settle scores, drinking your blood. But aside that enjoyable skills we attend to do the bidding of others, once a time. You can maybe hunt us down for pulling your children to the dark side, you can maybe hunt us down for performing rituals that made you shiver in your beds, you can even hunt us down for killing a loved one. But never forget … when you are in need of a service, when you need to get a job done than nobody else ever dares to do there is us … we can solve all of your problems, how big and illegal they are, we can hunt down your worst nightmare, we can kill your treacherous husband, name it we do it … without blinking, thinking or asking … as long as you willing on paying the price for it.

Who are we?
This cult, so people started to call it, was built on a generation long reputation started by Avanti Morningstar. He is the leader of this so named cult and has all strings in hand over the people joining him. For that there are two, Achilles and Ayana Ryvain. As one of the eldest vampires Avanti over lived generations of people here on this soil, he is as darkened as the monsters in the woods. Just as his two loyal followers he spend a great deal of years hunting down the innocent. For that they started to use their skills in other ways. And those skills are … let’s say, for use to any character here on Fallen Skies. These vampires are working in group, what means if you step on their toes you will know about it. They have a strange way of rituals pointing out there whereabouts in the kingdoms, if they are around you will know it and if you need them you simply whisper their names and they are right there.

What can you ask for?
This cult only does the impossible. Whatever job you can’t get done by yourself, they will do it for you. Killing a stalker, threatening a ex-lover, needing protection, moving mountains if needed. Their immortality makes it possible to do anything really. This you can ask here, in this topic, the only thing you need to do is fill in this little sheet and post it down here in the topic. We will send out an pb to your character for a topic in which your character can call out for their help.

You want to join?
It isn’t easy to persuade the monsters in the night of your talents and job skills. But none the less … you can join this cult if you really think your character is fit for it. Be aware … your probably end up dead before even get undead. The road to immortality isn’t easy, certainly not when Avanti is standing in charge of that. If you want to join this cult you can but it is only for the worse of the worst among the humans walking around. First off, you will become a vampire once he clears you ‘healthy’ for the cult, second of … this isn’t without obstacles. Avanti will ask impossible things of you before you even can join, you need to prove yourself. So think about it before you meet with the leader of the cult, he isn’t sunshine and rainbows.
