Faith: Seth does not believe in the Faith of the Dragon, even though it might seem like he does. He actually does not believe in any gods at all, or at least not in an almighty one. Loyal // Seth has always been loyal, even as a child; but where his loyalty lies changed a lot over the course of his life. At first he chose where his loyalty lied by himself and no-one else could affect that, but due to the long and terrible years he lived under the command of the El Jaouhari family, he was taught to be loyal to the one who owns him, thus his master/mistress.

Quiet // This is actually a trait that has been learned to the man; he is not supposed to speak, unless someone specifically asks him. He even finds it hard to express himself from time to time, mostly because he does not speak the Valyrian tongue very well, as no-one really ever bothered to teach him when he was just a kid.

Demeanor: Seth has been taught never to look his master or mistress right in the eyes, thus his eyes are usually locked to the floor. Compared to this, he usually still stands straight and tall, with his back straight and his shoulders up.

Accent: Seth's accent is a far-away try of an Valyrian accent and slightly sounds like that of an actually Valyrian, as he does try, but as soon as he speaks, it becomes very clear the man is not from Fallen Skies at all.

Seth was born on an island far, far away from Fallen Skies, on which a population had been living in solitude for a long time. They had their own language, their own culture, their own ways of living. It is unknown on what exact day or in which year the man was born, nor does he know what his mother and father named him or how they looked like. When he was about six to eight years old, an unfamiliar ship appeared at the docks. Men they did not know nor could understand because they spoke a different language, entered their town and they were not friendly, not even a tiniest bit. The habitants of the town were divided into two groups; the strong and the weak. Children like Seth, strong men and healthy women were separated from the old, the weak and the sick. It’s that day the boy saw his parents for the last time; as they were not deemed to be healthy or beautiful enough to actually join them on the journey to the new land the unknown men were talking about. Seth has no clue what happened on the island after they left or if his parents are still alive somewhere, wondering what happened to their beloved son. The men took him with them on their ship and he never was able to return and probably never would be; because there is no way he would actually find the way back to his homeland ever again.

The journey back to the new, unknown lands took several months; on the boat they were taught a few things about the place. A bit about its language, but only the general stuff. They were taught a new name, taught to forget their old one. When the ship finally reached the shore, Seth had already accepted his new name. As soon as they reached a place called Valyria, they were branded with a certain number. His was 21-09, which he later took as his birthday, not knowing his old one anymore. It was probably a number to identify him from the others, so it was easier to sell and buy. He was easily sold to a Mr. El Jaouhari for quite a low price and taken to his home. The years he spent under the man were hard, as the young boy was just a child and had no knowledge of the language in Fallen Skies; everything that was taught to him, was eventually taught through quite a physical way. He still has the scars running over his back from the many times he was punished and he can still remember the long days of work he had even as a kid and also the many times he fell asleep without being allowed to sleep.

It was however when Seth was transferred from Mr. El Jaouhari to his youngest son, Mukhtar El Jaouhari, that he completely lost his sense of rebellion or anything related to that. Under his command he learned what it was really like to serve someone with complete loyalty. If Mukhtar said it, he would do it. Even if that meant jumping off a cliff and dying. Eventually his loyalty had to switch though, and it did; he was sold to Daelorian Rahaeris, the lady of Sundarin, at the age of 18. He promised his loyalty to the woman and from that day on he worked under her command.
