Her mother was born in Valyria and is a (sorceress) tarot card reader, but was soon called a witch and a fraud when she tried to determine the future of a wealthy landowner. Her father was born in a small village in Falkreath. He was never taught swordsmanship in his earlier years as his stepmother wanted him to pursue a life dedicated to being a priest. But everything changed when the village was attacked by vikings and his parents where killed. He was taken with the vikings to their stronghold. And before long he learned to wield a sword.
