Morton had multiple weapons. A tall, long sword, an axe, bow and arrow and some small knives. Those knives came out handy when you seemed to be out of weapons, you could surprise your opponent with them. If you were a good thrower, you could also throw them in the chest, leg or wherever you wanted. Small knives were always handy, as a tool and as a weapon. And in times like these, you could better be at your fittest, especially when no-one seemed to be trustworthy. Men were having their eyes on Freyja, his younger foster sister. She was a beauty indeed and he understood those men, but those men weren't only longing for a beauty of a wife, also for power, maybe mostly for power. Ever since the boat sank with his foster dad and foster brothers on it, men came to Hillerød like sharks to a bleeding man in sea. Morton narrowed his eyes and grabbed the axe. He liked his foster sister, more then he would admit and it made him frustrated that all these men were preying on her. Men from all over Falkreath.
Morton left the great hall en stepped outside into the snow. He walked to the place where wood lay to be cut into pieces. It was a perfect exercise, but also a perfect way to abreact your emotions. He grabbed his axe with a single hand and put a piece of wood on the tree trunk, with a single swipe he slashed down his axe and cut the piece of wood in two. The pieces of wood were perfect for fireplaces to heat up the hall and rooms. He put another piece of wood on the tree trunk and slashed it in two with a grunt. And so he went on and on, releasing his emotions in a manly way.

A young lady walked through the people. She wasn't someone you would forget easily. Ginger hair and poison green eyes. Everybody would recognize her immediatly. With a deep sigh and her hands deep in her pockets, Athena kept walking between the people. It was nothing for her, to stay to long in a city. This time it seems she had no other choice. It was clear that the young lady was frustrated with herself. She wasn't even looking where she was walking. Still everybody stayed clear of the ginger. It wasn't becaus they didn't trust her, it was the fact that the wolf that walks loyal next to her didn't let anybody get to close. With the nudge of his nose against her leg het caught her attention again. "Sorry hades" she spoke with a soft voice. She was really distracted lately. "Let's get out of the crowd, you can't alwas stay in your disguise. It tire you out. " Athena walked away from the people, after scrathing the timber wolf behind the ear. She hides her hands in her pockets to keep them warm. Athena caught a few noises from a bit farther away. Ofcours she knows it was from cutting wood. But it was the fact that it was way louder, that had caught the ginger haired her attention.
With soft staps she went closer, not to disturb the person. Athena watched the man with an amused smile on her lips. The man not much older then herself. She crossed her arms over eachother and just keeps watching. Not even sure was she even stays. The wolf Hades growls a little annoyed at the fact she didn't walk away. She was bored, it was clearly written on her face. It was a little obsession of her to watch other people their emotions. " May i ask what the logs have done wrong to you?" The grin on her face getting wider. "Your rather... Agressive in your job cutting them" The irritation radiating of the wolf didn't went unnoticed by Athena. She just choose to ignore it at the moment.
Heb het gevoel dat men engels sucks XD

Morton couldn't stand the thought of his sister lying with another man in her bed. When the thought, the image came into his mind he slashed again with his axe, both pieces of wood flying away at both sides. His beautiful sister, with her beautiful red hair, being used because of her beauty, because of her kindness, and mostly, because of her status as Lady of Hillerød. Morton never thought why the idea touched him so much. It was kind of normal that men would try to get a place beside her. Every Lady needed a Lord, right? But when it came to Freyja, it felt wrong. Another piece of wood was cut into two with a fierce blow. He was so scared that the worst would happen to her, that the man she'd choose would be the wrong man and that he would try to pick her place, setting her aside and threaten her. That she would be beaten whenever she didn't listen, but that her bruises would never be visible and that she'd stay silent about it. He grunted again and two pieces of wood fell to the ground. He stopped and sighed. What could he do to protect his foster sister? He prayed to the gods that all those bad scenarios would never happen to her.
The voice of a woman asked him what those logs had done wrong to him. Morton turned around to take a look at her. A rather beautiful lady with ginger hair and a wolf at her side. Morton narrowed his eyes a bit. "You don't know how these logs spoke to me, ma'am," he reacted and a small grin decorated his face. "And why not use full force while cutting them? It makes us stronger, you know," he followed then. He walked toward her and eyed the wolf. "What a prodigious wolf you've got there, ma'am," he spoke. Morton knew that the wolf didn't like him, didn't trust him, though, there was no need for it. He wouldn't harm a woman, not when she didn't ask for it. The woman and the wolf were the reason that his troubles about Freyja had left his mind. These were the perfect distraction for now.

The young woman was way to bored. She decided to go away from the crowd. Not only for herself but for the hell hound next to her. The creature was strong, but even he has a limit of holding up his disguise. Athena held a close eye to him. Still time. Her thought were everywhere. The fact that someone high knew about her, made her angry. How could she have been so careless? But most of all, how hasn't Hades smelled him. The ginger haired sighed for the second time. Her fingers running smoothly through her own hair. Athena watched everybody very closely. Since the meeting with that blond teenager she was being very careful. Athena grumbles not believing at first, that such little kid exist. She will kill him. One way or another. It will happen, maybe not today or tomorrow. Heck it can even take years, but she will have her chance. Oh the feeling alone of just torturing him makes her skin shudder from pleasure.it's been too long. It didn't surprise Athena, that something caught her attention. The fact that she was bored made her even more alert. Without any hesitation she walked to the man. Her arms over each other and her back leaning against a big tree. By just looking at the man, she gathered he wasn't much older than her.
After just watching him, Athena spoke up. Curious on why he was angry or irritated. "You don't know how these logs spoke to me, ma'am," A soft laugh escaped the woman's lips. Her poison green eyes twinkling with amusement. "Ah, it would have been something very rude if you react like that" The woman played it along. For a few seconds she just cocked her head to the side while watching him after he came closer to her. Her smile got a little wider of his manly manners to get stronger. "What a prodigious wolf you've got there, ma'am," She followed his eyes to Hades and chuckles. The wolf itself not finding it funny at all. " He is just a little bit grumpy. " she excused the wolfs bad attitude. " He doesn't like the crowd that much and i stayed to long for his taste. " Another laugh came through her lips while ruffling the wolf who growls and strolls away. Probably to the forest so he could change back, and stay there doing who knows what. She stretches her hand toward him "The name is Athena" It would be rude not to introduce herself to the man. "Mind telling what's on your mind to a stranger?" Her voice was soft but with a mischievous undertone.

What would he do, what would he do when he found out that his foster sister was mistreated? He'd probably kill the perpetrator, slowly, and he'd make him suffer. Morton prayed to the gods that all these scenario's in his head would never happen to her, to his dear foster sister, Freyja. He eyed the pills of chopped wood and knew that there was enough firewood for the time being. He sighed and stopped with the wood chopping.
The voice of a woman attracted his attention and Morton turned around to see her. A ginger woman with a wolf at her side. She'd asked him what the logs had done wrong to him, on which Morton replied that she didn't know how those logs had spoken to him. She answered that it must've been rather rude, what those logs had said. "Indeed," he reacted after which he rumbled a short laugh. Morton came closer and examined the wolf, who seemed to find it irritating. Morton found it still impressive to see such a wolf at the side of a young woman. So he gave a remark about the wolf. The woman followed his gaze and chuckled, after which she excused for the wolf who was rather grumpy. A chortle left his mouth. The woman explained why the wolf was that grumpy and again he chortled. "Poor wolf," he commented. The woman laughed and ruffled the wolf, who let out a growl and left. "Grumpy indeed," he noted. Then the woman introduced herself with the name Athena. Morton placed the axe on the ground and leaned against the wooden handle in a casual way. "The name is Morton Svartsson," and now she knew that he was the foster brother of Lady Freyja Skarsgård and that he was the adviser and protector of Hillerød, something to be proud of. Also, his surname was a known one, though he was the last one to carry it. His biological family used to be a powerful group of fierce and fearsome vikings. Morton didn't know if he was proud to be a part of that name, though, he didn't really care either. Athena asked for what's on his mind, on which his eyes narrowed a bit. "What's on my mind is not your business," he replied calmly. He wasn't going to tell his thoughts, nor was he going to make something up. "You're not from here," Morton then concluded, rather curious. He knew that she wasn't from here, because most people knew each other in Hillerød, since it wasn't that big. And if you didn't know the name, you'd recognize the face. And he didn't recognize hers.

The ginger haired woman had decided that she needs to move on, to the next city. She had stayed here for to long. Hades made it everyday very clear to her. She had enough money to last a few months, no need to be in a city anymore. Still here she was, looking at a young man who was not in a very good mood. Here she was, talking as if she didn't thought of leaving the town this very moment. Her arms crossed over each other to keep the cold away. Hades was one in his rude and annoying days. The creature was to long in disguise so he got grumpy. She didn't blame Hades. She would probably worse... Anyway her eyes kept an eye on the animal when he left into the forest. She laughed a bit louder on the guy his grumpy comment. "I don't blame him." She really didn't. "The name is Morton Svartsson," His name did ring some bells. The only reaction he got was an arched eyebrow. her eyes scanned his full body before looking back in his eyes. "Ah, the hot one from the family, I heard." There were a lot of gossips in town. She always listen to those gossips. Who knows, you can always learn something from it. " I have to say, that i agree with that gossip" The woman teased him. Not really caring if he liked it or not. Athena was a woman that tells everything that is on her mind. But most of all, she really doesn't care what other think about that trait of hers.
"What's on my mind is not your business," A short shrug with her shoulders was the only reaction. He wasn't hurt by his words. Why would she? "If you say so. As far as i can remember, telling a stranger your worries are always easier then telling it to someone you know. Or in your case keeping it for yourself." With a curt move from her hand she waved the subject away, not dwelling on the same thing. of course she was curious to his thoughts. Who wouldn't be. But she wasn't rude, well... not always. "You're not from here," The smile on her lips became wider almost turning into a grin. With one big step she was in front of him. Only a few centimeters from each other. "Nope" Her poison green eyes kept so much hidden. "A town is not really my thing. "She walked next to him. Her lips close to his right ear. " To much curious people, and to much gossip" A low chuckle came from her lips. "It seem you like to keep a close eye to your people " She tilted her head to the side. "Good to know. " in meanwhile she pulled herself away from him. Her words hiding a hidden message. "So pretty boy, anger moment gone?" she grins while pulling a few strands of hair from before her eyes, to behind her ear.
