Occupation: Sheriff; officer; detective; prosecutor; ...Call her what you like. Everywhere she goes she is there to keep order and make sure the law is followed. Her goal is to investigate crimes and prosecute the offenders.

Appearance: Agatha is about 1,77 meters tall and has an average built. Her hair is long and black, which she sometimes wears in a ponytail, and she has brown eyes. Since her occupation is not without risk, she always wears a hauberk underneath her clothing. She usually wears clothes that are made of thick leather to provide some extra protection, without the intention of looking good. On her clothing on her chest, located at her left pectoral muscle, she usually wears a metal badge in the shape of a five-pointed star with the word "SHERIFF" engraved on it. In cold weather she can often been seen wearing a thick, long, dark green coat which often hides her badge.
Most of the time Agatha can be seen wearing a sturdy belt. This is what she uses to store her most important items: Two daggers, two pouches to hold plant seeds and gold, one crossbow, one pair of handcuffs.

You don’t mess with justice, and Justice is Agatha’s middle name. She likes things to go her way and she doesn’t often take “no” for an answer. She also doesn’t shy away from saying what’s on her mind and she can get very angry when provoked. However, when the latter is not the case, she can be a pleasant person to be around. Just stay on her good side and don’t be a criminal, and you’ll be fine.

• Weaponry: During her training she needed to be able to make use of nearly every weapon you can think of. She hasn’t mastered most of them, but she is able to use them. The crossbow is her personal favourite and the one she excels at.

• Magic: She has trained a lot with her magic ever since she was a child, making her able to take a great advantage of it. However, when she uses too much in too short a time it can drain her energy.

History: Agatha had the luck to be born into a middle class family in D'auvignon who never had to deal with the problems of the poor. They always had enough food and water and they had a good roof above their heads. Her father was a highly successful merchant and her mother wove the most beautiful of clothes. For the longest time it seemed that little Agatha would follow in the footsteps of any of her parents, but before she was old enough to truly be the apprentice of any of them, disaster struck.

She hadn’t fully known that her father had enemies who wanted the success he had. One of those enemies had sent out a hitman to end Mr. Morstan’s power on the market – in which the criminal succeeded. Unfortunately Mrs. Morstan had caught him in the act, and thus her life was ended as well. Agatha, only twelve years old at the time, found her parents in the morning. She can’t recall what happened after that. She only remembers the chaos that followed and the sheriff who led her away from the crime scene, promising her that they would catch the wrongdoer. Agatha was brought to a foster family, where the sheriff would visit regularly to let her know if they had made any progress in the case. Thanks to this the young girl started to get a genuine interest in law enforcement, which eventually would almost seem like an obsession. She decided she wanted to become a sheriff herself one day, and she would often pretend that she was chasing criminals while playing with friends. In her early teens she started to pay more attention to her magic ability and started training to be able to put it to better use.

When she was about eighteen years old, Agatha got an apprenticeship at the local precinct. Her mentor was none other than the sheriff who had helped her get through the rough times when she was a kid, causing her to get even more passionate about her future occupation.

Now, at age 28, Agatha is a full-fledged sheriff, who has made it her mission to travel around Fallen Skies to bring justice to those who can’t do so themselves.

Extra:
• Agatha always carries around a pouch full of seeds and nuts. This is in case she needs to grow plants for whatever reason – be it for defence, shelter or something else. If the plant that grows from the seed is not native to the region she’s in, she usually lets it wither.

• All of her aspects are a homage to crime fiction: Her faceclaim is prosecutor Carmichael from Law & Order, her first name is derived from author Agatha Christie and her last name is derived from Mary Morstan, Watson’s wife in the stories of Sherlock Holmes. I considered Adler as her last name, but the connection to the woman seemed a bit too obvious to me.
