Donovar is a talented liar and thief. He believes there is nothing he can't steal and that he can talk his way out of every situation. This young man is very stubborn and when he wants it, nothing will get in his way. He is also not afraid to confront other people unless they start asking personal questions.
He is still unsure about his condition. Is it a curse or a blessing? The pain he has to endure every month is a curse, but the power that comes with it...that is a blessing. For now, there is no one that knows what he is and he wants to keep it that way. That also means he needs to stay low and can't attract too much attention. It means things can change if he decides to embrace the beast within.
NOW TERROR IS ALL THAT YOU'LL FIND
The boy grew up without a father and a mother that was poor. She never wanted children and Donovar was also unwanted, but in the end, she loved him. There were times that Donovar asked about his father, but she always changed the subject when he did. It was almost like she was scared of him. Like he was a part of her life that she wanted to forget. After a while, he stopped asking questions about him, but it didn't change the fact that he wanted to know who he was.
Donovar was relatively young when the day of the attack came. A lone wolf approached the family at night, but it wasn't your average wolf. It was a beast that only came during the full moon, looking for blood and blood he found. The boy and his mother were defenseless and soon his mother took he last breath. Donovar had no choice and left his mother for dead while he ran for his life. Blood was dripping from his body, but unlike his mother, he survived.
His whole life changed after that and something in him wished that he had also died that night. Guilt was eating away at his soul. It was because of him that his mother died a horrible death. Because he was a coward that rather ran away than fight the monster that attacked his mother. He knew she was still alive when he left and he felt like he could have done more to help. Instead, he had chosen his own life over that of his mother.
But that was not all. The next full moon he himself became the beast that had ruined his life.
Big scars cover the left side of his neck, but when you ask what happened, he will tell you that it was caused by a bear attack.
