Of course she knew where to go. Allison wasn't Allison if she had those kind of contacts. It shouldn't really surprise him, but still he raised a brow. What even did Allison have to do with a pirest? Het let it slide for now, there were bigger things to worry about now. Like this mes. And what would come tomorrow adn the day after, adn the week after. And so on. Everything seemed very uncertain right now. It had always been like this, but suddenly a great power rested in their hands. Kaz wasn't sure if he could get used to that.

The vampire nodded, agreeing with his words. The sooner the better. ''The sooner you ascend, the quicker we can get everything over with. The quicker things can get back to normal, or well.. a little bit back to normal.'' Because after today, nothing would be normal again. He wouldn't be some lowclass thief anymore, she wouldn't just be an alchemist anymore. They would become something great and they would still be bad. Something told him this wasn't the best of ideas.

I'm headed straight for the castle

They’ve got the Kingdom locked up

All these minutes passing, sick of feeling used. If you wanna break these walls down, you’re gonna get bruised. And now my neck is open wide, begging for a fist around it. Already choking on my pride, so there's no use crying about it

A sigh sounded when Kaz spoke, but she nodded to show she agreed with his words. He was right. They needed to get this over with. It was something she would rather take more time for, arrange it like a normal person would. But, the situation wasn’t normal. She couldn’t do this without him and she didn’t want to. It had been ten years since she left home and now she had managed to make it here. The Duke was dead. The seat was theirs. All that was left to do, were things that she could have arranged in a day. One of those things was the marriage.

“I’ll talk to the Jarl. Let’s meet back up at your place,” she told him, smiling faintly. Meeting with Ragnvald was probably better if it was without Kaz. The deal had been made with her alone: it should be finished with only her too. The fact that she was covered in blood was probably usually not the best way to finish a deal, but in the case of the Jarl? She didn’t expect him to walk over here in clean clothes either. “I’ll have it arranged.” Rings. A solemniser. Clean, proper clothes. And after the wedding she would need to take care of business in the castle too, as it seemed all employees had made their way out when shit hit the roof. Yeah... That break wasn't going to happen anytime soon.

She seemed to agree with him. Well that was a first. Either she was tired of fighting, or he was right for once. Kaz rather went for the last option, but for now he put it aside. It was unimportant. What was important was that this needed to get done as soon as possible so everything could get fixed.

''I'll see you there, then.'' Kaz spoke with a slight frown. He didn't want to let her overdo it, but could he protest? He bowed down again, pressing a soft kiss on het forehead. ''Take care.'' Was all he could say. There wasn't much else to be discuseed or talked about. The plan was clear, the choices had been made. He just had to wait it out. And maybe get some clean clothes. With his last words he smiled softly at her before turning around and getting the hell out f that throneroom. The smell of all the blood was making him sick.
